    I think its time for aftermarket bump stops to go on. Any brand you guys prefer?
    (took the truck on one trail and been street driving about 5k miles now) Also cant figure out why only one shock is wet and the other side is dry. The top pic is the passenger and the bottom is the driver
    @AccuTune Offroad any thoughts?

    Anyone running 650lb springs with a slimline steel bumper and winch? Looking for a photo of the threads and hub to fender measurement. No two trucks are alike but I’m experimenting with some things.

    Are you talking about the oil/dirt residue on the first photo? Likely just left over oil on the shaft attracting dirt/dust. I would just wipe it off and check back after a few days. That shock is also mounted on the front side of the axle, so it will see more dirt and debris from the front tires kicking up dirt than the other side shock.

    Got a set of used 2.5" front and rears off marketplace for $600!! Had to drive 5 hours round-trip to get them, but it was well worth it. Found a local guy to re-build them for another $600 (although they probably don't even need it, just new bearings). After new seals, fluid, bearings, and cleaning, these will feel brand new! Hoping he is finished up with them this week, and then installing this weekend! Did I get a good deal, or what?

    Those front coilovers look a little different than how they come now. May be an older design maybe. Hopefully they bolt in without any trouble.

    Thats what the guy rebuilding my shocks said too. What’s different about them?? They came off a second gen, so I think I’ll be fine.

    Hopefully they fit. Differences: Top hat with studs, hose fitting at body, reservoir fitting at reservoir, reservoir mount.

    Top hat on these just have bolts threaded into them. They don’t have studs. Hose fittings look a bit different but that’s the only noticeable difference. All other specs are the same. Should work without any issues

    Also, resi mount just has the cylinder sit horizontal as opposed to vertical. Still utilizes the sway bar mount

    Anyone from King within TW that can help ID these?? Seem to be an older model for sure. Hoses have a 2013 date on them.

    Those are the early King built shocks the NPT resi outlet and the cut and welded crimp fitting to clear the UCA. The current shocks have the ORB fitting like Accutune posted. They will 100% bolt into any 2005+ 4x4 Tacoma.

    King 2.5" and JBA UCA went in on the driver side. That UCA removal / install was brutal.... and apparently that isn't even the "hard side." Atleast it looks badazz :)

    What’s your measurement from the center of your hub to bottom of fender?

    I’ll have to measure later. From level ground to the bottom of the fender (measured in the center of the wheel) is 40.5” i believe
