Yeah, 285/70/17. I haven't measured how much lift I got. I'm about to put on a bumper/winch and some armor. So I will measure it after I get it dialed in after that.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Can anyone who installed the kings on their Sport give me their opinion of the ride? People say the sport is a little stiffer stock from the off road but I've never driven any other Tacoma models. Thanks

Main cause of stiffness is the larger sway bar on the sport...so I've been told.

It definitely rides better than the sport stock but that's a given. I haven't driven an offroad stock though. I would recommend upgrading to the adjusters and turning them completely soft on the road. Kinda like someone said before, you still feel the imperfections on the road but not really bad or anything. The real improvements are bumps/dips and offroad. Overall, best investment I've made with absolutely no regrets.

About 1.25" of lift in the front. Just kept it the same how it came from Kings since they said it's the optimal ride performance. I didn't need to go any higher since I didn't go the 285 route.

nah i actually had them installed at a shop up in Sacramento that specializes in off-road stuff so kinda surprised they jacked it up all the way. i feel the shock bottoming out on large bumps, so gonna have mine adjusted down about 4 turns when i install new UCAs

No kidding I moved back to NorCal a couple years ago and the roads suck big time ! All over this state !!! And it's not because the taxes aren't high enough !

right now i have about 12-13 threads showing. hub to fender measurement is about 23.75" (stock is 21") so 12 threads showing = 2.75" of front lift.

so it seems like for every 4-5 threads showing you gain an inch for our 3rd gen trucks?? if anyone else has input i'd love to hear it.

My measurements are pretty much the same except is 1/4 inch higher on the front passenger side , I'm running 285/70/17 without any rubbing but I did the body mount chop prior to lift . I'm tempted to leave it , just level it as I want to run 285/75/17's.

Somone correct me if im wrong but as far as i understand it..you're probably getting into the bump stops, not bottoming out the shock. Also I think you'll reduce up travel if you go down. When you lift you sacrifice droop travel but gain up travel. That being said the bumpstops are still the final limit for up travel.

I think he means that he intents to lower the amount of lift by 4 turns
