Agreed, I adjust them for on road and off road settings. If you don't adjust them for different road conditions then you wasted money on buying them in the first. I had adjusters for my past cars also and they felt gimmicky so I had reservation on the Kings and Foxes but so far they pretty much paid for themselves and worth every penny.

Another consideration I had with the adjusters. Weight in the bed. I'm unloaded 95% of the time. But when I go out, all my gear is in the back of the truck. Heavy canvas tent. 10 gals water. 10 gals spare gas. Extra spare. Large cooler and other gear. Tools, chainsaw, etc., etc. And then it's roughly 50 miles down some fairly crappy roads to get to camp. A painful and slow ride in years past with the Bilsteins in the rear of the Gen1. And then there are the runs for firewood and the occasional elk in the back. Really looking forward to being able to crank compression up on the rear kings on the Gen3 to handle the weight a little better. Probably sumo springs in my future, but will see how this setup goes at the end of the month on my hunt before I make a decision on that.

Did you get this figured out. I just checked mine and it was very close to hitting on one side and only about 1/4 inch space on the other.

Made some adjustments to my sway bar. After installing Kings had almost no clearance. Maybe 1/8 on passenger side and 1/4 on drivers side. Now have 1/2" on both sides...

I agree with this statement. I adjust mine all the time. On-road and off-road are different. And when I'm off-road I can adjust them depending on what I'm doing. Be it crawling around on big rocks or racing through the desert. I can easily switch them mid trail too. In the city I can run them really soft for a plush ride or stiffen them up when driving through the mountains (no sway bar). I can set the front and rear differently depending on my load. Getting Kings with adjusters was definitely one of the best decisions I made while putting together my suspension. Right behind getting Kings period.

No not yet, still on 265/70/17. One of these days after I get the my new 4Runner I'll do the CMC and go 285s, regear, and add the locker from ECGS

Yup, I took my Kings off the truck a couple weeks ago to clean them and crank up the ride height. It looks like I put the swaybar brackets on backwards when I slapped everything back on, because I flipped them around and tightened it up this weekend... I gained clearance, about 1/2" on both sides.

Mine were put on by a shop and that's exactly what I did. Just turned them around and was good to go.

My truck came from the dealer with a spacer lift and 1.5 block in the rear. I pulled the spacer and installed the kings to match that height. I left the blocks for now and no problems.

I've got 1" blocks on the rears of mine for now. Low Range Off Road 1" machined billet aluminum blocks with a 1 degree taper.

The block put me up 2" in the rear. More height than I wanted, but the Kings with 700lb coils at factory pre-load settings brought it up right about 1 3/4 to 2" in the front, so it works (I wanted to maintain a near factory rake, and wasn't looking to level).

Looks good, but likely a temporary option for me. I will probably go with Dakars in the rear now that I'm comfortable with going up 1.5". Wasn't looking for that much lift, but it looks pretty good.

If you don't want that much lift in the rear, I'd consider trying the .5" shims.

No issues so far. Other than the increased height, you'd never know they were back there. Leaving Tuesday for a deer hunt for almost 2 weeks with a lot of off roading though various terrain. Will report back how everything worked out once I return.

Rear king shock install is fairly easy. Did you get instructions?
