I might go 13 and 11 soon. Since I'll be getting a winch soon. I know I'll have to do a cab mount chop, but I want to get a little more clearance for now. I'm rubbing like crazy with the wheels cranked in reverse I think because I removed the sway bar

What are you all finding the wait time to be to get your King’s? I’m being told another six weeks. It’s already been three weeks.

WTF! I wonder what my problem is? Mine are also ordered directly from King through a third party. I should have them by now.

Did you have them do any custom valving?

I ordered mine on Cyber Monday through AutoAnything and they arrived January 4th. Ordered with 650lb coils too. Rears I got through @Downsouth Motorsports. I was deployed though so wait time wasn’t a worry for me  They sat for a month until I got home

Now I’m very new to all of this. This is my first time very messing with the suspension on a truck. Should I have the shocks tuned somewhere or can they go straight on out the box?

Super Lube PTFE is what I spray on the threads. Technically any PTFE is good for the threads and keeps them from rusting.

I used a spring compressor and it was effortless to adjust the coilovers

It will all depend on what you ordered and how much lift you want on the fronts. No adjustments on the rear for height. Standard front kings are set around 1 yo 1.5 lift right out of the box.

So, about five weeks. Maybe I’ll get lucky and there just going to under promise and over deliver.

I’m not claiming to be an expert by any means, but my understanding is that the answer depends on what you have planned for your vehicle.

Are you adding any extra weight to your truck (bumpers, skids, RTT, etc), heavy duty off-roading (rock crawling, driving fast in the desert, etc), or is it just a mall crawler?

There are several threads on here that talk a lot about how valving can make all the difference in the world regarding how the truck handles. In other words, it’s not one size fits all.
