The back tend to be about roughly 1/2"-3/4" higher then the front do to the factory rake. If you don't add AAL or full leaf pack in the rear then yes it should be leveled. From the factory, King comes preset at 2" on average.

What do you mean by equal? You can’t adjust the back.

Also correct me if I am wrong but when you open your King’s from the box, either passenger or driver is slightly higher to compensate driver weight or gas tank. Atleast that’s how it was explained to me

So I have a Deaver mini leaf pack in the rear, and by equal I mean al 4 measurements being the same. I had my installer make the driver side higher to compensate for taco lean

And I just did a quick measurement and had
    Front driver:23 1/8
    Front passenger : 23
    Rear driver: 23 5/8
    Rear passenger: 23 5/8

So with my kings should I “theoretically “ be able to get my front up to 24? At least 23 5/8 to match the back?

That’s pretty much how I am sitting.to be honest it’s up to you. No one can tell you how to like your truck. Me personally I like a little rake but if you want a completely level then raise the front

Stock measurements can vary from truck to truck but are generally considered 21 front 22 rear. After installing my Kings I had 22 front and 24 rear on OME leafs.

I adjusted my front to 23 as I myself prefer the factory rake and didn't want to push the front coil overs to their max recommended adjustment, which is 2.5 inch (this is direct from King). So taking that into account, the max that King recommends is 23.5 in the front. Can you go higher than this? You absolutely can, but you are outside of the manufactures recommended specs. As Toki said, nobody can tell you how to like your truck, if you want it level then you should level it. Just be aware of the aforementioned information.

The front coils were pretty easy to adjust for me. I sprayed the threads with PTFE lubricant I have laying around for my UCA's and let it sit for 20 min. Jack up the front end so the wheels are off the ground. Lossen the locking ring bolt slightly, not very much as you dont want this to jump the threads. Take the tool that King supplies with the front coil overs to turn the locking collar. The issue you will run into is the locking collar cannot be turned past the reservoir hose and you need to either buy the King tool which has a curved end or use the method other members here suggest which is to cut a 5/16 punch and use that with an extension to turn the collar past the hose. This worked perfectly for me and I had no issues with turning the collar.

BTW, I am on 650lb coils with no additional weight in the front besides sliders and I have about 8 threads showing driver and 4 passenger.

my coils are 600lbs, I was never given an option when ordering...what is the common spring rate? Difference between 600,650,700....I dont have any armor on the truck yet.

From whatever I gathered 600-lb Springs are fine up to 150 lbs of extra weight up front. Over that 650s would be a good option.
Over 200 lbs up front - full armor, big bumper, winch, dual batteries, roof rack, bed cap, etc, 700 lbs springs would an excellent choice

I went with 650 lb Springs because I had aluminum skids and I was planning on hybrid bumper and winch. Since then I had to upgrade to steel skids (no bumper yet), and 650s seem a bit stiff. Not too bad, but not as comfy as your 600, lol

Is it hard/expensive to upgrade/switch em out?

Depending from where you bought yours (there was a company that provided 1 free replacement), New springs could cost ~$200. Coil-Overs have to be removed from the truck, and springs replaced using proper press.

When I installed my front Kings I measured them off the truck as I already had a 2 inch lift. Three weeks later I realize the front was not as high as before and it measure 22" center of hub to fender. This is how they came from king.

Last weekend I took the weight off the wheels, sprayed the threads with wd-40, used the T-handle tool from King and easily raised it to 23".

Thorian, everywhere I have read suggest any lift in the front over 2" requires after market UCA to be able to properly align the front end.

My kings are sitting on 14" long springs with 650 lbs spring rates. Less preload to get the 2.5" of lift I wanted.

Anyone running 700lb springs with no front bumper/winch? I’m thinking of going with 700s even though I don’t have the bumper yet—just curious if the ride is terrible or what. I do have some “up front” weight but def not as much as a winch bumper will have. Currently just aluminum skids, bamf sliders, and a roof rack if that effects anything. Trying to plan ahead for the future.

I'm about to switch out my 600 for 700. Running steel skids, rtt, and soon to be steel bumpers, winch (rear bumper with swing outs) . Love the setup with the 600s now.

Rouge-Offroad might have some info about them if your looking for it. They posted that they have a few customers on them but I haven't seen much posting about it other than DSM putting them up within the last week.
