Does anyone have an 3rd gen unlifted sport that could give me a fender to ground measurement? I just put my kings in yesterday and its sitting only slightly higher than stock height. Just want to check it and I forgot to measure before I swapped out the extended coils

Funny you should ask-just sent this pic to some friends. Never realized WD-40 made this. 2 cans for $10 at AutoZone last week. Going to give this a try for the uniballs and heims. I use Superlube for the polys on the LCA (I have a +2 LT set up) using a trigger style grease gun

For a couple hundred less you can get the TC with heim joints like @state48overland has. It’ll provide less maintenance and still amazing product. I just like the Icons since they have dust covers on the uniball.

Does anyone else's rear shocks look this long?

I'm currently on stock leafs and wondering if it's normal for this little chrome showing.

Just make sure your rear bumps can accommodate the ( Ext ) longer shock from bottoming out with stock leaf set up

Is anything needed on the rear if I want to run the ext with my stock rear leafs? Would I receive any lift just from the ext rear shock?

That’s where mine were too and I had extended on stock leafs. You can see the line of dirt on the shaft after time and see where it is at during full compression and it was way too close for my comfort especially running stock bumps. So that’s why I decided to lift the rear a little and it’s all good now.

No shocks won’t lift your truck. You technically don’t need anything else but like the statement above ^, it was a little too close for me so I decided to lift it.

I figured. Thought I'd ask as there's no way the stock bumps would stop from bottoming out. I'm gonna throw on a mini pack this weekend (1.5" lift). Should be enough?

Just depends. Test them. Either watch the dust line on them or put a zip tie on the shaft. Watch where the zip tie stays after compression to determine how much longer your bumps need to be.

Make sense, was debating buying the shocks first then the Dakar leaf pack. Guess I’ll wait and do it all at once.

Like he said below, depends and weight will play a factor too. I put in the 3 AAL from Icon and got 1.5” of lift and it’s been fine so far. Pic below. Hard to tell but you can kinda see the dust line.

I don't carry anything so weight isn't an issue. It still does look close even with the AAL on your pic. Gonna install mine anyway and just order taller bump stops.

Might be the angle since it was taking from the top down. It’s plenty so far

So, I've decided to go w/King after all. Here's a strange question but...has anyone ceramic coated their setup? My truck is going on 3 years with Ceramic Pro and living in the midwest, especially around these parts, they like to spray for ice and use salt. I just thought this might be extra protection.

Dang, I was going to go w/650's because I too have bolt on Mobtown sliders/w inserts that are linx-ed, but just an RCI front skid. I rub on stock size tires w/my Ray 10's. I'm looking more to just level it out w/just a little rake still and was going to stick w/OEM length and no UCA.

    Can't wait to see pics!
