3RD gen paint issue

There have been a few posts on here on guys with the same failure that have religiously washed and waxed their trucks.

 

Clear coat degradation and paint flakes are one thing. Truck-long deep scratches from neglect/abuse are another. Clearly no amount of washing/waxing would prevent OP's roof condition. We all know Toyota's paint quality isn't that great. The point still stands; trying to address it after a warranty period yields the same results.
