3rd Gen painted fender flares

Hey guys, been wanting to get a set of white painted flares for a 2020 SR and looking online there are a few options with companies selling flares painted to match. Has anyone used any of these with success?

I checked the for sale listings here and even the fender flare swap thread and didnt see anyone willing to sell a set of white flares. So i've debated trying one of these sites to buy a set of flares, have them painted, and shipped ready to bolt on. Any ideas? Anybody got a set of super white 040 they would part with to save me having to do this?

Can you put OEM flares on a SR? I could be wrong I’m not real familiar with the SR but you have no mounting holes for the OEM clips.

 

Pretty sure this is true. It can and has been done but there are some issues. From what I recall in other threads you’re basically relying on a couple clips that do have holes and double sided tape. I think the little winglet extensions on the rear fenders are also different and have to be replaced. I’ll see if I can dig up the other thread. I considered it for a minute but then decided it just wasn’t worth the effort.

 

I recently bought and installed painted fender flares for my 2018.

Bought it from Jams Auto Parts on ebay.

They actually didn't have any listed. I reached out to them and luckily they had one they were preparing to list.

Price was about $270 plus shipping. I paid a bit more to ship to Hawaii.

Perfect condition and color match. Very happy with it.

If they don't have the side flare you need, just reach out to them like I did.

 

I can punch out a few of the square holes in the fender and use double sided tape.
I think some of the aftermarkets use only the double sided tape.
I am pretty resourceful and can make them stick.

 

Hmmm they do have quite a few, are those OEM blems or vehicles that are being parted out? It says New/Other but they appear like they've been mounted before. How was yours when it came in? Was it packaged well so it didnt get damaged in shipping, thats another thing i really have to contend with is shipping a set of 4 and them not getting trashed in shipping.

 

The one I received was flawless. All the clips were pre-installed including the 3M tape on the edge. Everything looked new and unused. No scratches on the outside or inside part of the flare.

No damage from shipping. It was encased in multiple pieces of hard cardboard shaped like the fender flare. The flare inside was wrapped multiple times in shipping plastic wrap.

They may package them differently for a full set of flares.

Through email, I confirmed it was the correct flare for the side of the truck I need it for. They provided plenty of pictures that convinced me, so I ordered the part.

Those look pretty beefy, a bit wider than the OEM flares yes??
What sort of mud flaps will work with them? Looks like the rear is a fair bit wider at the base of the bedside where the mud flap would bolt on. Without seeing these in person it throws up a bunch of questions.
