    Why bother with the plastidip, why not just prime and paint from the start?

    Help! After dipping my emblems I notice that on two of my letters you can still see just a spec of chrome. Can I just spray a little more on to solve this?

    some and more and more and more and
    You should also have five or six coats on in case you ever want to take a back off, it makes it much easier to do so

    Anybody experimented with clear plastidip on top of the chrome at all? I'm thinking of trying that on portions of my grill along with black in other areas. Hoping it will come out with a "satin chrome" finish similar to what's on my Fat Boy Lo.

    Yes I had to remove the trim on the dash to make life much easier. If you start from the passenger side, you can pull it off by hand. Once you remove the one around the steering wheel you want to do the following;

    Lower the wheel and pull it out towards you to the max length.
    Place both stock arms (signal and wipers) to their lowered position.

    You can then pull off the remaining trim and wiggle it out from its position.
