I'm trying to keep some chrome. The girlfriend thinks it keeps the truck from looking too aggressive considering the plans for the rest of it (3 inch lift, predator steps, bedrack). So it will be a "refined" outdoors truck. :) though with the addition of some geeky vinyl to her, I'm not sure how refined she looks haha

Decepticon logos on the 1/4 panels and the three on the rear windows (Driver side, skull with Decepticon logo on it, I aim to misbehave in the middle and the Stormtrooper on Imperial on the passenger side)

I'm still debating on dipping the lower portion of the tailgate (keeping this on topic), however I have yet to find inferno letter inserts (I've been able to find, black, chrome, reflective black, blue and red. But alas no inferno.).

Think it would look really smart with the inferno tailgate "TACOMA" on plastidip. But masking them just look like an utter pain to do.

    *Edit*
just saw the "in the next movie" lol, great and I was trying to avoid this next Michael Bay monstrosity!

I ended up keeping the surround chrome as well. I think it looks great on the super white.

I've been thinking about derping the lower portion and now will definitely throw some color-matching inserts on the derp. Great idea!

I can't recall the name of the member who makes some vinyl for the tacoma (he has an ebay store).. but if we tracked him down, maybe we could offer him pizza and beer...or cookies? to make colour matched tailgate letters other than the ones already listed... cause come on! who won't work for beer and pizza!?

Debated heavily on dipping the bezel too. I'm quite happy with my decision

Yeah. I see a lot of guys dip the emblem and all but I like just getting rid of the outer chrome and leaving the rest.

I believe this grill is on SR trims with a black bezel, and Limited trims with a chrome bezel.

I used the plastidip for the first time.
I didnt feel like it was spraying right. I felt like it was very liquidy.
Do you all feel the same when you used it for the first time? Or did i just get an old can or something?

I figured... But its literally liquidy. The light coat gives water marks rather than coating...
