Can we add the option "I'd use it if it actually fucking worked, so instead I keep an actual working charger in my truck"?

You've got the wrong phone! S6 Active and I use it all the time. Except when I use the phone for navigation because google maps > Entune Navigation

Were you using cases that were designed to add the Qi charger to your phone? If so, I would get the shop to look at your truck.

I think there is a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding about what this system is capable of. Especially when we have two phones named the "6s" and the "S6," one built by Apple, the other by Samsung. One has Qi charging capabilities built in, one does not.

So you are saying the charger works fine and you would use it if you could...but your phone sucks and doesn't work with it?

Some people on here, like me, say the Galaxy S7 gets to hot and charges to slow. Yet some people say they use the same phone everyday and it works great with no complaints. What up wit that? Is my shit not working correctly. Or do I have a higher expectation of what this thing is capable of. Why cant it work like my Samsung charging pad that cost $39 does? Not get it hot at all, charges fast, and charges fast thru my otterbox.

The Samsung charging pad is sitting out in the open in an air conditioned room. The charging pad in the truck is in an enclosed cubbyhole surrounded by other electronics and right over the top of the transmission. No surprise one holds heat a little more than the other... I guess if it really bothers you, you could hack an AC vent reroute to blow cool air on your phone.

Stopped using it because after the first few weeks finding the "sweet spot" became impossible. Nexus 6. Switched to iPhone 6s+ so no more wireless charger.

I love tossing my phone in there, but it always goes in and out for charging. I have a Galaxy Note 5. I've heard that their wireless charging tech spec's aren't as great as the s6 and that may be the issue. But if I don't keep my phone very still in the corner it will not charge. Even then I hear it go in and out; with or without my Ottberbox (commuter) on it.

has anyone else had issues similar?

Samsung Galaxy S6 doesn't charge with the Otterbox case I've installed on it.

I stopped using the wireless feature shortly after I got my tacoma, when I realized how slow it is with my galaxy s6. Honestly it may give me 5% increase during my 45-60 min commute. My Samsung wireless charger that I have at home charges much faster than the one in my truck.

Only when I use a thick case like the UAG ones. If I use a thin case, it's not so picky. But I naturally just put it on the lower left corner and it will charge everytime.

The S7 edge, and it plays nicer with the head unit than the iPhone 6 did. I'm happy

Galaxy NOTE 5. I use it, but like others have said, it cuts in and out so often, and gets hella hot.

If I throw it on in low power mode, it will actually connect/disconnect continually until it kills it self.

See I don't remember the note 6 ever being released. I got my note 5 a year ago this month!

How do you like the 7? I'm considering upgrading to it right after my 18month pay off period is in April.

Are you talking about battery power saving mode? I almost exclusively keep mine in that mode. And it dings in and out constantly like you said. I wonder if I kept it normal if it would charge better.

I did however use it the over day when I was super low (10%) and my 10minute drive home it was at 16%, so it's doing something.
