You are probably right. I did don't think of that

 

Unless your agreement has a confidentiality clause in it you are free to discuss whatever you want to.

 

this is a great idea, but what if the private shop tells you that this is how a normal truck differential operates and sounds, then what?

 

I think companies like to keep us quiet also to keep liabilities down. Really, this is a forced breach of the 1st amendment.

We can contractually agree for the terms to stay confidential but you don't see it as much nowadays. DOJ stopped doing confidentiality agreements years ago. They are so hard to enforce.

 

From what I understand most lemon law cases tend to end up as buybacks or settlements with NDAs. Toyota is incentivized to push back hard against lemon law claims, then when they have no choice, settle for a buy back that doesn't get reported as a "lemon".

 

well then take it to a Private reputable shop and get the answer from a Non Toyota affiliated mechanic, most times you take their mechanic with you on a Ride to point out what your hearing and they can tell immediately if you have a problem without even turning a wrench and they wont even charge you for it.

 

I have had 4 buybacks of clear Lemons yet each and every one were not legally classified as a Lemon. I trade assisted on each one so they didn't have to classify them as what they truly were - Lemons. Some other poor sucker got a clean late model one owner car.

 

That is what I will do but first I have a date with Toyota.

you r wasting your time at Toyota they have already told you and many people that its normal so why waste anymore time dealing with them,I mean really its either shit or get off the pot. Take it to a proffessional Drive and axle shop they will diagnose it for free, why keeping wasting your own time come back and post Toyota is screwing me.

 

I believe he is Getting his situation squared away. I think he is sharing his experience to give others a path of hope. This is one of the many great thing of Tacoma World, and we should be thankful for this.

 

We all appreciate people experiences but in the case of the rear Howl its already been denounced as a normal by Toyota,so why not take the truck to a Non Toyota Drive axle shop to diagnose it for free, all they do is test drive it and they will hear the Howl and will automatically tell you what the issue is or could be, without the typical Toyota run around.

 

So, when is this fix dropping. I'm eagerly awaiting the midnight release.
