    All trims seem to be impacted. Sooner you report the closer we move to Toyota prioritizing a fix

    Side question based on above, anybody know of any san diego dealers that are aware of the problem? I want to minimize my time of going from dealer to dealer when I get it documented. Not looking for a diff replacement as of yet, but definitely want it noted and replaced with a proper unit before the warranty expires.

    Anyone can document it. Every dealer is pretty much the same in that they'll all say "never heard of that being a problem" regardless if they actually have or not. Typical service advisor response

    Yeah I guess I should have re-worded that. I have it documented, but right next to "customer states..." are the words "could not duplicate."

    I'm hoping to go to a dealership that doesnt do that BS. I'm also trying to get videos with hard evidence of it on my truck. But the wind noise and louder exhaust I have don't help my crappy phone microphone. It's blatant inside but the microphone seems to pick up the other sounds at a lot higher levels compared to the diff sound frequency.

    Doing the same with the chirp on the high pressure fuel pump. I unfortunately don't have a lot of time to spend at the dealer, so I might need to show up with some evidence before I leave it for a day.

    Hi, my 16 trd sport manual transmission is in the toyota dealer now for rear diff replacement all started with howling noise at 60 mph. On saturday they check the diff fluid and de consistency was like wd40 and a lot of metal shavings. My truck only has 3400 miles. Trd sport 4x4 manual transmission. New York. Hopefully i can get it back on Friday
