    None...yet
I haven't personally checked it, no.
I was just sitting here thinking about it so I checked Smittys post here. Bingo. That.
I've been a mechanic by trade for years in the past. ASE certs, the works. That's to qualify this next part. I didn't buy a new truck with a warranty to do my own repairs. If I turn a wrench on it, it'll be for fun not necessity, until the day that warranty expires. Which is 8yrs/100k miles.

It's from when the vehicle was purchased. So he purchased in November but warranty is through November 2023 it's not the day you purchased the warranty.

I'm the opposite. Work on cars 7-5 for a brand other than Toyota. I would rather do all the work on my truck, but I don't want to pay for parts.

I understand that. But he says he just got it today with a November expiration month ? No way.
I bought mine in June and got that form in July, with an expiration in June years out. Not 9 months later ! Understand ?
If he just bought it, it would say July probably.

He got it from corporate as compensation for the issues he has had recently. I am in the same boat. I bought the truck in March, and didn't get warranty info until late June.

No he bought his truck in November the warranty is from in service date not when you added it. So if I buy my truck in May then buy the warranty in October it still expires in October of whatever year.

I don't believe they gave him the warranty for free, and as much as he wants to sell it I don't think he would buy it.

Yes it's common. Reoccurring issue, part of customer service solution. Don't understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp.

If you gripe enough, it gets taken up to corporate, an engineer comes out and you make enough of a stink yes this happens. But its not a here have this, you have to make a fuss, just like everything else you buy, complain enough and they will try to make you happy.

I have never bashed my dealer, and have posted what I have been told here to hopefully help everyone.

As for the warranty. I calmly called corporate after I had my first differential replaced and explained the situation and that my confidence had been shaken. Never complained to them once. If you don't believe me, then whatever. Why we are all worked up over a warranty picture is beyond me.

Right. I think cause it's smitty so people jump on him quicker. TW used to be a community of friends/common interest, people didn't call each other liars and what not.
