I am done arguing with you Mush. This doesn't mean I give up, by any means, but rather, I am taking the high road. Smitty is right. This is cluttering up the thread. Good luck and good bye Mush.

you and Smitty99 are creating a false narrative about rear end howling and have cost thousands of dollars costs over a non issue that Toyota has addressed and called normal by experts. now you are using the TW forum to encourage others to do the same and discrediting Toyota Tacoma is how you are doing it. As far as I can remember on this forum most complaints or critical assertions were not handled by shredding Toyota trucks as no better than a 1968 GTO and encouraging people to be dishonest in complaining to get a FREE extended warranty> which is the only reason you and Smitty99 have come here, what im saying is if your not a Toyota truck enthusiast and are only here for personal dishonesty and gains. leave.

Hey Brad and Smitty- thanks for all the help! While Toyota has admitted to the multitude of issues and has tried to fix them, I'm bailing at 60k. This is not the same caliber truck they are known for. I've owned them for 20 years and this is the worst.

TW owes a big thanks to both of you for trying to make the 3rd gen a better truck.

I want to thank you both for your insight and articulate descriptions of the issues and suggesting potential solutions.

BTW, ignore the rodent. He's a waste of your time. Trust me. He's ignorant, infantile and needs to be banned from this community.

The whine started Friday night @ 300 miles. Every second gen I test drove made the same noise, guessing this is just "normal". Noise occurs right at 55 mph.

Guess I'll go get it documented and then watch this thread for Toyota to supply a fix.

Perhaps a ranger. Maybe a FS GMC. I don't know, something that shifts like it knows what's next. I had a 90 5.0 mustang that was just perfect. All my Tacomas before this were predictable.

This is so disappointing. I just can't understand why Toyota did this. It is just so bad and obvious.

I can just see all the EPA loving lab coats nodding at one another saying this is it.

    FCOL!

yes please leave and then complain about your next truck somewhere else, also leave knowing that you and the other 2 running the Toyota truck sucks scam here have ruined this site for other 3rd GEN owners who enjoy their trucks and have no problems. at 60k miles you have finally manned up to get another truck shouldn't have waited so long to get rid of a Lemon must have liked something about it to put that kind of miles on a truck that's barely a year old.

Go away! Please. You are adding nothing. Your addition of nothing makes me type these and add nothing either.

Go to the second gen forum and bash someone there complaining about their frame rusting through.

    @Mush Mouse
Do you harass second gen members who complain about any of the following:

    Needle bearing vibes?
    Rusting Frames?
    Weak leaf packs?
Headlights than burn out every year?
Drive Line vibes? (gasp...second gens had vibes too)
    Throw out bearing issues?
(It's like I owned one with all those problems or something...)

Please answer the above honestly . If you answer no to any of the above then I truly feel that the mods should remove you as you are truly trolling.

I don't harass anyone, all Toyotas ive owned 4 trucks have had Recalls and TSBs which addressed issues with the trucks all clocked well over 200k miles without a major incident and same will happen for the 2016. All the OP has wants to do and has succeeded is too start a shitstorm over these issues he has to get an Extended warranty out of it which he has no other reason to join TW is to rally the troops in discontent and complain to Toyota corp about the diff. and the many problems(he says) so he can railroad an extended warranty out of them to shut him up or he will spread more false rumors about his truck here. that's the game plan, he is not here to be a contributing member in any sense. that's why he has his moniker loud and proud for all to see LEMON DRIVER
