Anyone else using the Offroam mount like this? I can't for the life of me get mine to hold into place. It falls off no matter what I do. They sent me a easier phone holder mount ( lighter spring ) for one handed use along with new screws for the vent mount, but I still can't mount it securely.

Man I love that vent mount. My Offroam only has like a half circle mount and keeps falling off. I checked the Hondo website and I don't see it on there. Anyone know if this vent mount is available ( the style that attaches on both sides of the vent like a full circle, not just 1/3 of the vent ) from any manufacturer currently?

    Rok-Form magnetic swivel mount.

    Older phone shown for example.
My dedicated phone has a Rok-Form Magnetic Case.

Figured I’d make a contribution here as I really like the results. $75 total for the ram mount parts, hardware, gas to home depot for the hardware. I figure this is half the cost of the other mounts out there.

I had to slightly bend the aluminum of the ram mount to match the contour of the dash plastic. I put it in a vice and hammered it with a piece of wood... used the short ram mount extension.

Rock solid. Completely out of the way of the air vent.

Thanks for posting this. Tried a RAM mount I had lying around but didn't like the x grip and how much it bounced around. Just installed this stuff and it worked out very nicely. All for $45 dollars or so as I didn't get exactly the same items linked but still appreciate the info and idea!

+1 I have the course mount and it’s legit. Super clean and works great. I changed over the mount type to the pop socket one because that’s what the wife uses and we had to standardize across vehicles for sanity purposes.

Same. I have the Course Motorsports mounting bracket with the magnetic charging head. I direct wired it behind the dash to the fuse box and it is super clean and works really well.

Does the wireless charging work well still with the magnet? The metal piece in behind the phone usually would block the wireless charging.

Holds great on air vent. Simple but one of the better mounts I've had.

Here's some new options for phone mounts that I've just released. Let me know what you think!
    1. 17mm Ball Mount - inexpensive, secure, and works with many phone mounts
    2. Wireless Magnetic Charger Mount
    3. AMPS Rails with 17mm Ball Mounts - works with RAM 2 hole AMPS mounts, GPS units, etc.
