Sometimes at full throttle my engine screams way up high, nearly 4,000 rpm?!
My 8.1L Vortec NEVER did anything like this... shit's gunna blow soon, amiright?

Should I pursue the lemon law and/or magnuson moss warranty act, asking for a friend, thanks!

I guarantee you I could spray water on a Ridgeline exhaust and it wouldn't get all spotty.

I’ve always said drive it until it breaks, especially if it’s under warranty.

Oh I’ve recorded them issues multiple times on these forums:
    • Slight shudder between 10-30 MPH accelerating/decelerating
    • Driver seat discomfort on 45+ mins drives
    That’s it.

I haven’t taken it to the dealership yet. The truck is only 5 weeks old and the shudder doesn’t bother me much. The seat does, but there’s little the dealer can do about it.

I’m looking at a 1st gen for a beater truck. Keeping my 3rd Gen clean for cruising the Cherry Hill Mall!

    That's cause the Ridgeline isn't a truck.

Toyota already knows truck owners do not care about spotty exhaust tips....

Ridgeline owners are used to the finer things in life, like built in coolers and speakers in the open trunk thingy.....and pristine exhaust tips

Just kidding to the member who started that spotty tip thread.....glad it all worked out for you, seriously.

I know you are kidding, but there’s a ton of truth in that.

Ridgeline is not really a truck; it is a car with a bed for Honda customers who like to go hiking but don’t know the first thing about owning a truck.

And that’s fine; those buyers have no need for a Tacoma, and Honda builds precisely what they need.

If you get the shudder, just push the skinny pedal a little bit more until it downshifts to the next gear. No more shudder.

Even a Pre Runner with locked rear, they’re relatively cheap

I have to say, the only thing that bothers me is the seat belt chime and the passenger seat rattle when hitting bumps. I'm gonna ask my dealer if they will turn the chime off, but other than that, I've been really happy with my truck. I get lots of compliments on it all the time.

With 1,000 posts, you probably already know it, but if the dealer won't turn off the chime, for $20 bucks you can.
(and tweak a few other settings)
