Happy Nov 1st and happy Taco Tuesday! Got all the paperwork done last night and had the vehicle delivered to me this afternoon. Pure excitement after a 5 month wait!

Same wheels like everyone else...not saying don't or that's lame but would be nice if everyone didnt do the same wheels, tires and lift height, gets old, never was the case with the 2nd gens, each was very unique, seems like every third gen owner slaps TRD PRO SEMA wheels on and KO2s. Maybe consider some SCS wheels which look great on these trucks, or methods.

I should have measured. I fucked up. I will tell you, the icons came with 15 threads showing (they said 2" lift for 16+ tacomas). I only wanted a 1.2-1.5" so i went down to 8 threads showing. That looked stock.

Im currently sitting at 13 threads showing. When I washed my truck, the water was SLOWLY flowing towards the back of the truck. Therefore, when its completely settled and ready to go, it'll be dead level or SLIGHTLY leaning forward. I love it.

I had KOs on my 06. They were excellent performing tires and had EXCELLENT tread life. I put 50k+ miles on them and they still had plenty of life left in them.

I want toyota branded wheels for 4 reasons:
    1) I'm not into the aftermarket thing. Stock TRD wheels are what im looking for.
2)The TRD pro wheels for the tacoma look like shit. I like these wheels a whole lot (last year I almost bought a TRD pro 4runner).
    3) I have the wheel and tire warranty. They'll only cover toyota wheels. These wheels are covered.
    4) Im not going to buy fake beadlocks

I bought what I like and bought the tires that'll perform well and last long. If this bothers you, go hang out here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...s-on-immediately.455463/page-36#post-13569590

As you should, your truck, it just gets old, I ran these wheels back in May, now there's 3 guys on base/work with the same wheels on their trucks and a guy at the track today, just a bit annoying, but you got quicksand, those are rare around here at least and a QS OR.

It was very hard to find a truck like mine (packages and color). I haven't seen one in louisiana like it yet. Im satisfied.

If you really wanted to be unique you maybe wouldn't throw the same wheels and tires on everyone has, just saying...bro

I have a lot of you guys were messaging me for a more up close/detailed picture of the wheels I have on my truck and info about them.. So here you go.. The wheels are a Bronze Volk TE37s specs on the wheels are a 16x8 with a 0 offset. I got the wheels at
ICB MOTORSPORT. Click on the link if you want to purchase or inquire about a pair.. My good friend Matt owns that company he is a really good guy. Also his shop is one of the very few shops in the US that actually has those wheels "in stock" most of the other shops have to order the wheel and it can take up to 3-4 months for the wheels to be delivered. Here's the link http://www.icbmotorsport.com/6x1397.html

If you want to paint the letter on your TRD pro grille you can.. They just pop off. I painted mine black to the could blend in with the color of the truck a little better
