3rd Gen Quicksand thread

I think they're much better in that I can see the light they're throwing. It may just be that they're easier to see because of the much whiter light and it may just be in my head. I like 'em.

 

i wonder what the light output of the trd pro fogs are compared to the TRS morimoto led fogs

 

Just picked up from dealer. will post more when I can get some shots during a nice day. This truck is definitely worth the wait! This is toyota #6 ( last was an 05 4runner, was rear ended and had major frame demage ) they have set themselves far above everyone else!!

Sooo i pulled the trigger today Ill try to get some pictures up tomorrow when its daylight

 

I have had my truck about 5 weeks, TRD Sport 4x4, access cab, 6MT. Modifications:
SR grille and front bumper, TRD Pro Exhaust, early Tundra black wheels, Falken Wild Peak tires, 265/70/17.

 

The truck to match the key...super happy with it big upgrade from the 96

 

Hello Tacoma lovers this is my first post here, I am excited about my new quicksand, and to be part of this great forum,
I ordered 6 speed manual TRD off road in October and my truck is ready to be picked up in San Fransisco on tnxgiving day
Toyota send me the vin numbers of the truck on October 20 before it was even build, November 8 is her birthday
This is my first Tacoma, 5TX vin code made in Texas.
I'll post pics as soon as I get her.

I forgat to mention her name MOJAVE
since she will have a nice sand color skin we decided to name her MOJAVE where she will spend lots of time exploring desert trails.

 

I got some time to clean my garage/shop today.. Took a picture of weekend warriors together

 

Nice looking access cab. Thinking about should of got one myself, little cheaper Than quad cab. Good looking wheels also

It showed up a month early, took delivery last Wednesday night. I have never owned a 4x4 this is going to be fun...

Boss 2.5 Lift Kit installed with stock rims and 1.25 wheel spacers on 285's. no trimming no rubbing

 

Can you post a front straight on bumper height pic with the spacers on the stock rims? I'm wanting to see if they sit even with the fenders or stick past. I want them flush, not past. Thanks.

 

Ill try and remember in the morning but they do sit flush. the side wall pokes out but the tread is bang on even. that way it passes our saftey inspections up here.
