Quicksand color profile really is neat. Saw one at a shopping center and it got my attention. Black rims make the color pop.

If anyone gives you poop about the color...tell em it's beach camo!

Anyone interested in swapping their color matched door handles for my chrome limited handles? Send a PM if you are.

Nice. Startin to see a lot more quicksands in the area after being gone for 7 months.

About a month ago I was debating what color to pick up and in hindsight I'm glad that I found this thread. Thanks to those contributors who posted and subsequently pushed me to go the Quicksand route. Let's keep this thread moving....

    No @flood504 ,
Just picked up the Non-Sport part:
    8519005_14Full.jpg

List on the part is $180 bucks but if you can find a dealer locally that can save you a few bucks it should run you about $140; shipping is brutal if you buy it on line.

It's a relatively easy install and "dipping" something like that will only stay looking good for so long with road debris and rock chips being certain to take a toll on it. I couldn't stand the way the Sport paint matched front bumper part but I love the paint matched over fenders of the Sport so this was my solution to providing a little more ruggedness to to the truck.

    HTH,

    J.

I would think that a wrap would hold up a whole lot better than dipping it; so yes, I would go that route if you've got the hook up!

    @ievko82,
Eiback Pro Truck Leveling Kit at the 2.25" mark (highest of 3 setttings) and 285/75/R16s Falken Wildpeak AT's on genuine Volk TE37Xs: 16X8 with a 0 Offset; no spacers.

    Hope that answers your question,

Thank You! There are a few others on the site who have the same aesthetic love for the wheel and we all seem to come from the same place of mid-90s Japanese styling; @Soopreme @iHoopAlot. For us, nothing else would really work on these trucks...

No regrets! Some random older guy circled back around the parking lot at the carwash last night to ask what color it was and tell me that he thought it was a sweet looking truck.

I was on the fence one day.

    Then I ordered one.

I'll never own any other color truck.

    It's perfect.

No regrets here, though in my home my wife and son refer to it as "BSB" and that is something that I've just learned to embrace.

Also as @Zoop mentioned, I seem to get quite a few people asking me what the name of the color is and whether or not it is a stock color. I do see Toyota likely trying to replace it in the line up, like they did with the FJ, so pick one up in a 17' model before they replace it with a more conventional earth tone like a Bark Brown or some boring Forest Green color.

I agree.. I thought the same thing. Hopefully they make it like a 3rd gen introductory color!
