3rd Gen Quicksand thread

Sliders finished installed last night/this morning.

I was just going to go on without asking but I like that look too much... what manufacturer on the sliders and are they bolt on. I always wonder if people post things like this trying to see who will ask first. I'll take the ribbon this time.

 

I build these sliders and they are 100% bolt on. I didn't like the unsupported ends on most of the manufacturers sliders. Almost 2' of no support on each end of most of them was not going to cut it for me. These tie into the front body mount then all the way down the frame to about 5 inches from the front leaf spring bolt.

I had a store bought slider hang up in the unsupported section and fold under one of my trucks. Did a hell of a number to the frame rail when it ripped all the bolts through the frame. That won't happen with these.

Got my pro grille installed and took it to the range.

 

Over here at Bragg for the week and seen this beast rig. Dope truck if the owner is on here.

 

If that is global warming, I really want it to head my way!!!!! I can't wait to play in the snow with my truck!

This looks great! Do you need a different surround or does the Pro grill replace the whole thing?

 

Uses existing painted surround. Black part is all that's popped in.

 

Just Installed my Pro Grille as well today on my TRD OR. OME kit on the way!

Posted up next to this pro today. I need that grille.

 

Where have you guys bought your pro grilles? I see some on eBay, but there has to be a better place. What should I expect to pay?
