3rd Gen Quicksand thread

New to TW, thought I'd add to this thread.

Finally got to detail Trixie2.0 and put on my DOPE custom sticker from @ruggedT
This quicksand color and OF combination is my dream truck and I cannot get enough of it clean or dirty!!!!

 

Love the way your truck is sitting man. What's the info on the rims and tires? Also info on the lift?

 

I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect the MPG but i can definitely say that it helps with the bugs and little rocks. Im considering derping mine. Thoughts?

 

Or.....you could just keep going.

 

17" FJ steels? Would love to see a picture if you ever go through with it.

I've been toying around with the idea of picking up a set myself. Kind of dig the utilitarian look... plus they would be different than most of the TRD Pro or SCS combos that everyone seems to be sporting these days...

 

I check Craigslist for these all the time. Part of my long term plans for my truck. I remember seeing it done in one of the TW threads- I like

What roof rails are those? I like them. I'll need to get some soon.

 

Yuba City is where I got my Taco from too. Drove from Sunnyvale, CA. Well worth the drive. Saved a couple grand.

 

YC is where it's at! This is my hometown dealership(I live down the street). They always have a good supply of Tacos and fair(non gouging) prices.

Are those FJ wheels? I was looking to get a set but I heard they don't fit Tacomas.

 

They are the TRD Pro SEMA 4Runner wheels (PTR20-35110) in gunmetal. Bolt pattern is the same (6x139.7), rim width 7, rim diameter 17, offset 4. Perfect fit on our tacomas.
