Love this color for what it's worth!!! Actually my 1st Gen is still at the paint shop for a full body work/paint job and it's gonna be quicksand......hope it's close to the Tacoma color.

It's one of those colors that's neat in concept but I can't imagine driving through my neighborhood in a fucking tan truck. People would probably think I bought some used zoo truck. Lol

Quicksand is the obvious color choice for me. I'm a professional Predator Hunter and will be wrapping the entire truck in Kryptek camouflage. People say if you're wrapping the entire truck, why does the color matter? Because I could not stand to have white, gray, red or blue door jams or engine bay with a Camo truck. Beside, with the right mods, this color will look insane! Just a hunch...

Fords version of this color is called Terrain

I'm pretty much set on Quicksand.

I would love to get a completely blacked out Taco, but it's so damn hot where I live and I plan on doing a lot of driving in and around Death Valley and the mojave desert. I figure the lighter the color the better, and this speaks to me more than white or silver (yaaaawwwwnnnn). Plus, I would think scratches and dirt would show up less on this color than anything else.

What he said. Tan for me. It will hide the dust and the Nevada pin stripes.

This is where my fondness of the tan color originated!

Love the Quicksand TRD OR, but maybe a little too much tan on the TRD Sport. Thoughts? The black flares and chin guard setoff the tan nicely IMO

Quicksand Tacoma will look great modded out with black accessories. And maybe a tan soft topper.

However, if I brougt one home my dog would hate me & my wife would leave me. :D

Agree. I wouldn't of gotten this on a Sport.. I like the White on the Sport.. Or Blue. The Limited in Blue looks really nice.. Kind of like the SR5 AC 4X4 with Cosmetic Pack in black..

Does anyone know if there is a Quicksand at any dealer in the SF Bay Area or Sacramento/Modesto area? This is my #1 color choice, but I want to see it in person before committing. I asked my dealer sales guy to look but he's worthless. I'm dying to see it... any tips appreciated.
