New to TW and new to Toyota. Bought my first two weeks ago, lift/wheels/tires installed yesterday. Just wanted to share a picture as I build out my truck as this website has been so helpful to me already!!

    So far:

OME 2.5" HD Lift -- I got more like 3.5" out of it since I have stock bumpers
    BFG K02 LT275/70/17
    TRD Pro Wheels
    N-FAB 3" step rails
    Plasti-dip grill and badges

    Planned:

    ????????????????

So stoked to get this thing on some trails!

Did you buy a 5th tire for the spare?

I did not. I probably should have but it was all the bank account could take at the moment. In theory ill get one for a spare when I recoup but ill probably just end up spending it on sliders... or beer.

Haha heard that. Bottle opener inside the tailgate is my next mod!

I was just wondering what most people are doing with their spares, stock vs full size. I just got my tires in 275/70/17 and can't decide what to do.

Yeah, I hear ya. When i get into serious wheeling that will be a must have but for what I do now and daily driving you can just carry a can of fix a flat...

Yeah, I'm leaning that way as well. And my tires are 10 ply so I'm hoping a thicker tire means less problems. But I'm usually prone to Murphy's Law, so I'm going to kick myself when I get a flat on the rear and have to swap tires and put the spare on the front. But saving $200 by not buying a 5th tire is a lot of beer money....
