Seems like it just bolts on by the way the picture looks. I'm interested in it also. Just don't want to cut anything.

Finally lifted after 18 months and 20k miles.

    OME 885 coils
    5100s (2nd gen) front set to 0
Wheelers progressive 3 leaf AAL with overload left in.
Driver side 1/4 inch trim plate

ECGS bushing installed as a preventive measure.

Height gained immediately after install is 2.25 inches front and back, expect the springs to settle about 0.5 -1.0 inches after a week or so. I wanted to retain the factory rake and go up a little without making the tires look too small.

Very pleased with the ride, maintains the OEM road manners the OR suspension is known for.

No need for aftermarket UCAS and no issues with alignment. Tires are 265/70/17 Nitto TGs.

    20170720_134827.jpg

Hard to tell with the slope of my driveway but the rear is about 0.75 inches higher than the front.

Is there a benefit to running 2nd gen 5100s on a 3rd gen taco? Why not put the 3rd gen specific 5100s on?

No real advantage I can feel, I've had them in my garage long before I had the truck; bought them before Bilstein had 3rd gen specific.

All I can think is you might get a little more shock travel because they're slightly compressed in 3rd gen trucks due to being valved for the lighter 2nd gen.

Gotcha. I only asked as I feel like I've seen several people with 3rd gen trucks running 2nd gen 5100s. Could have been similar situations. Thanks for the reply, trucks looking good.

Thanks, I think after the lift now I'm done with the mods. Everything else spent has been recovery gear that's kept in the tool box.

did you have to do any modification or use force to get them on? I had a set and the little screw got in the way for the headlights but was fine for the fogs.

So I didn't end up having to modify the bulbs at all, however I did have to force them in as as the screw on the bulb did get in the way. I'm going to try finding a shorter screw to maybe correct that problem or try shaving a little indent into the headlights back side so the screw doesn't get in the way. I will keep you all updated incase anybody is interested

Wow that looks great! I like the roofrack on this color, esp with the shortbed. Are those wheels bronze colored? I like them a lot!
