Yeah its the damn weight of the E load that I'm not interested in and the TG doesnt come in 275. Although an E load 275 BFG probably weighs the same as a C load 285 Nitto TG.

I did a lot of reading, and it seems 275 is the happy medium. You might find a lighter 285, but the O.D hurts performance/mpg more than weight was the general consensus from my reading

Yeah but the dealer blacked out the badges and put on trd grill, skid and wheels. I had to do that myself.

Yeah I know, tire selection is so darn limited though for a 275. It's not off the table however.

    From CruiserOutfitters.com:

"What do the +,o,- marks on my spring mean?

OME/Dakar spring will often have a +, o, or a - painted on one end of the leaf spring, so what does that mean? The + means slightly over spec, and when we say slightly it wasn't enough to consider the spring an error rather it is by design. The o is exactly at spec and the - slightly below spec, again by design. As the drivers side of a vehicle often has more weight, its common to use a + on the drivers side and a o or a - on the passenger side. Or, a o on the drivers side and a - on the passenger. The total difference side to side is likely just 1/8"-1/4" but it can be just the right amount to level the vehicle. This is particularly important when A and B springs are not offered such as many of the newer spring applications."

I'm already on 265/70/17 with a 2 inch lift, 275 almost seems like it wouldn't make a difference other than the weight.

Looks to be plenty of room for a 285.... decisions, decisions.

285's look cool, I agree. I guess I was finding a happy median for my uses of my rig. Also as in the picture below tire size isn't all that matters when it comes to looks. Notice the stock Bridgestone 265's vs the same size in a ko2. Also the 275 is quite a bit fatter and taller looking.
In the end it's a hard call. Either or look great imo, even 265's. I'm still trying to get use to this v6 power so I didn't want to rob it too much.

Yep, the 265 feel great on the road and trail, just look a little undernourished with the longbed.

Too bad I can't find a C load 275 Nitto or BFG, that's probably perfect for me.

You'll find them on this list in both black or grey style.

The wheels I have are the 17 inch 4Runner Pro wheels and will not fit the stock OR 16 inch tires.

The Tacoma Pro wheels on the list are 16 inch and will fit the stock tires.

quicksand wasn't my first color choice but I'm digging it. I don't need to wash the truck so often and even when offroading it doesn't look as filthy.

1 weekend, $3500 spent, busted knuckles, crusty under, and its done for now. My first truck and I did everything on my driveway. Idk how people can spend so much for a dealer to install this.
