I had it down to inferno, then I keep coming in this thread, and now I can't make up my mind on Inferno vs Quick sand :(

Funny. I was stationed at George AFB back in 1984 and 85. I went to Edwards a couple times moving equipment. What a great place to own and drive these trucks. I had a 74 cj5 jeep when I lived there. Loved it!! Now I told my age but still at 53 yrs old I love lifted trucks and off road adventures. Good to know on those tires

I know the feeling!! I got mine 2 days ago and was quick sand. I wanted to see one in person before I decided. Id found an inferno and looked at it and told them I loved it but wanted to see quick sand first. Once I did the inferno was sold anyway and both would of taken 3 to 4 months to order and I took the sport in quick sand because another person had called to put deposit on it because he couldn't find one either and he was 600 miles away. So I had to decide then or I was waiting 4 months. I loved both colors and love the quick sand and bought it. Glad I did but if inferno I would of been happy too. Both great colors. Totally two different looks. Inferno is real bright and sparkly and Quick sand is clean smooth look with no flake. It does look much better in person too.

I absolutely hate red for a color but that inferno is actually pretty cool, second to my quick sand

Thanks for the reply....! Im told they will build it the first part of January and should have it by the end of the month so keeping my fingers crossed. Just couldn't find one I liked and this being the first time I have ever bought a new vehicle car or truck and might not ever again I decided to get one with everything I wanted and was willing to wait. I'm not a hard off roader either but there a lot of roads and trails in my area that have some tough sections here and there and want to be able to get through them as best I can so the rear locker seemed like a great idea along with the crawl control and other nice amenities that it comes with. Still trying to see the color in person but since its already ordered ill have no choice but to love it. Now time to find a good lift and tires that will make it more capable without causing a lot of headaches. Just want 2 or 3 inches and some good wheels and maybe rocker panel protection. Any suggestions...?

I put the @ToyTec Lifts ultimate lift in two tacomas, and would highly recommend giving them a call. Lotta bang for the buck, and had ZERO headaches. Quick install too @ ~3 hrs and a few beers

Can anyone tell me why I'm seeing Quicksand OR's with color matched rear bumpers AND chrome rear bumpers? Why the two different styles for the same truck? Early production vs. later? Is there an option like tow package or something that gives you one over the other?

    I'M CONFUSED!

I think it has to do with the premium technology package.

Premium/Tech package gives the offroad a color matched bumper. None tech model offroads get the chrome.

Damn, I was afraid you'd say that. I hate the idea of a chrome bumper on an off-road package. Chrome anything for that matter. Lol! I ordered a Quicksand DCORLB without premium/tech. My head rubs on the headliner with that stupid moonroof.

Easy fix, paint it or wrap it. It's not that much to do since it's only 2 pieces.

I really like the look of that Snugtop but the color match looks really bad. Maybe better in person but through photos it's pretty rough.
