    Thanks,

The shell is an ARE Overland, same thing as the V series. When I was considering trading my '13 for a '16, I knew I needed a topper. A member on here confirmed that ARE had models that fit back in October. In the front are FOX 2.5 remotes w/ DSC, Total Chaos UCA's, diff drip and sway bar relocation. I want to lose the sway bar, but haven't decided. In the rear are FOX 2.0 remotes w/ DSC, Old Man Emu Dakars with an extra leaf. Wheels are the T4R pro's with 285/70/17 KM2's. @Pelfreybilt supplied Frontrunner canopy and cab racks, as well as a @RigidIndustries 40" sr lightbar.

I think MT is a bigger market than Toyota cares to admit. Especially with the reviews on the new auto. I have lots of friends that tried to buy second gens in MT and just got tired of waiting for them to show up on lots. I bet if Toyota doubled productionof MTs they would sell every one of them.

Finally found time to install my lift yesterday, wheels and tires went on today. Working on a full build thread but thought I'd give a sneak peak here to all the Quicksanders who posted cool stuff while I waited for my truck and lift to arrive.

    Quick Specs:

    Icon Stage 2 Lift -
Icon Progressive AAL in Rear w/ factory overload leaf left in (I tow and use the bed to carry weight)
    Stock UCA's

    Pre-Lift Hub to Fender:
    Driver Front: 20.5"
    Passenger Front: 21"
    Driver Rear: 21.75
    Passenger Rear: 22"

    Post-Lift Hub to Fender:
    Driver Front: 23.25"
    Passenger Front: 23.75"
    Driver Rear: 24.25
    Passenger Rear: 24.25"

This left me with about .5 - 1" of rake, which I happen to like.

    Tires: BFG KO2's - 285/70/17
Wheels: 4Runner TRD Pro Wheels (17x7)

NO RUBBING, NO TRIMMING, NO VIBES - DRIVES AMAZING!! (slightly stiffer but still nice and soft).

Truck looks great man. Great news about not rubbing. I got my Icons inbound in the next couple weeks. Seeing that you got 2.75" lift over stock, does that mean you adjusted the coilovers up an inch from the default setting or was that just from the bigger tires and default settings from Icon?

I adjusted the collar 2 full turns. They come preset at 1.25" of "threads" showing and Icon recommends no more than 1.75" of threads showing. Turning the collar 2 full turns made it so that 1.5" of threads we're showing, right in the middle of the preset height and the maximum recommended height. So basically I moved the collar down 1/4". Not sure how much extra lift that gave me but I've always heard that it doubles, so 1/4" on the collar would be 1/2" of extra lift. Can't say for sure if that's 100% true or not but what I've always read.

Thanks for the detailed response man! Just out of curiosity, what what you make that 1/4" adjustment?

I used the spanner wrench from Icon to turn the collar. The preset height is designed to work with the progressive AAL but I knew the preset height in front wouldn't be enough for me as I was leaving my factory overload leaf in place in the rear, which adds about an extra 1/2" over just using the progressive AAL alone. I like some rake but didn't want too much so my goal in moving the front by 1/4" was to get an extra 1/2" of lift in front, compensating for the overload in the rear. It was just a guess based on past info, but when I put it on the ground and measured it worked out just how I wanted - a little bit of rake still for when I carry a load or tow, but not too much.
