Sweet truck. I saw in another thread that you have a lift. Do you know or think that size tire will rub without lift?

There's one locally just like that. I can't seem to talk myself into testing it. My GF loves it, but I'm scared I might not be digging the color after the newness wears off.

It won't wear off, especially when you see a MGM pull up and it looks dirty and your still looks clean as hell. I have a buddy that has one and he asked when I washed it last, which was weeks, and he laughed saying his was 3 days ago. Man it looked dirty lol.

The QS on the OR looks pretty good with the contrast of the black flares.

I have the sport and the black does look good over wheels, In person the Sport looks great too with color matched flares. I thought same thing on color and was going to get the inferno/silver or mgm and when I saw the quick sand i liked it and then thought i want one tried to find OR in 7 states within 1000 miles with no luck and order was going to take 4 months and wife said see about that sport it is fine. So i tried local dealer within 3 miles of me and couldn't find one anywhere either in this color. The couldn't trade in state north of us which is crazy 40 miles from us that had the sport. Called them back and took it. It is a different color but almost everyone looks at it ask what color is that its cool. Something different too and clean look.

Funny, I actually like the painted flares and wish I had the scoop on the hood. I just absolutely had to have the OR for the locker and crawl control though.

    Profile picture as promised.

Mine already has a scratch on it, and not even thanks to me. My friend was grabbing some metal racks out of the back seat, and he turned to ask me a question as he was standing by the driver side at the back of the bed, and he scratched a nice horizontal line from the back of the TRD sticker for about 4 inches. Thankfully it wasn't all the way through the paint. If he'd done it on purpose I'd be stupid pissed, but it's a truck and it will have worse scratches and pinstriping the first time we really go play.

First scratch is always the most painful. Now that it's out of the way, go out and enjoy your new truck. ;)

thanks. yeah I really like the long bed option better. Funny the flares and front hood is growing on me and my wife likes them a lot better than without. She's happy is a good thing. Like you said no locker and crawl control stinks not having but I love it anyway. If I catch myself in situations needing the locking diff and crawl control on more occasions that stop me from going places or not going places ill order exact truck you have at that point. Heck I may never really need it and if that is case this truck is fine. Long bed I do not need just like the looks better and would be nice when taking all my fishing rods to the creek or lakes. Sweet truck you have for sure. Love this color we have!!

Those are called pinstripes, it's an aftermarket addition. Sort of like speed holes.

It will have worse, I guarantee it. The Quicksand color has already paid off, because not only di it not go all the way through the paint, it's difficult to see anyway because of the color.

In my '10, about 3 months after I got it I slipped and scraped the cut end of a 4" wide piece of tree branch across the passenger side of the bed. I was way more pissed about that. It left a HUGE mark.

Question for Quicksanders - I have a 2016 Dual Cab Short Box Off Road with 265/75 16 KO2's running 33 psi cold and a stock suspension. My ride quality is really good on smooth freeway and roads, but on cracked freeway pavement or slabbed concrete road types, or rough rutted roads it is a really harsh ride with lots of jolts.

I cannot imagine installing a lift with stiffer suspension or larger tires.

Do your Off Roads, Sports ride the same? Provide tires and suspensions please.

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
Might be tire pressure related. I'm running my stock tires at 29 cold and it is smooth on all surfaces. What load range are your tires?

I thought the 265/75/16 only came in E, that might be the problem.

If you have E's, that's most likely why the ride gets harsh on bumps. The 265 KO2's also come in a C load rating...

Added 5100's all around with front set at .85 and KO2's size 265-75-16. Also got my Pace Edwards bedlocker installed. I love this cover cause it's electric, works on a remoteimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg key fob, and can stop in any position.
