So parked next to this boom lift today at work and came back this !! The top of half door was opened back not locked properly and it swung back onto my hood.

What touch paint do you guys recommend using?

Not sure. I did purchase this exact touch up paint from my Toyota dealership though...so they are selling it as an exact match to the color. Honestly though I haven't tried it out yet so can't confirm my results.

Anyone else not like how the chrome bezel/trim along the edge of the dash reflects on the inside of the windshield? This is especially an issue on the left side of the stearing wheel. Now painted matte black.

Dupli-Color "Vinyl & Fabric Specialty Coating" Flat Black.

I got quick sand touch up from dealer. its not same exact color. it will stick out worse if you touch it up than if you leave it. or get it professionally done

Most people put on too much and it doesn't look right. You have to put minimal amount in the scratch, and more importantly wet sand it down so that it doesn't stick out more than the factory paint. A bit of work, but in the end it's almost unnoticeable. If you don't touch it up, you may get rust down the road.

I removed the Tacoma side door emblems and V6 emblem on the tailgate.

Looks clean. I’m torn between rebadging mine or not. Some days I can’t stand all the stickers and badges.

I seriously thought about applying black overlays, but it was less costly to pop the emblems off instead. I need to go over the areas with some Goo Gone to finish removing the adhesive. I should have done this mod six months ago.

Picked these door badges up on Ebay, molded matte black, same size, adhesive and a direct replacements for the chrome.

I didnt need the whole OEM overlay kit, just needed the doors and I wanted the letter centers cut out so I didnt want black plastic covers.

    Very happy with the results.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2016-2...173599143089?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10

For anyone interested, no affiliation with the seller. I know the 3rd gen badges are harder to find than the smaller 2nd gen black badges. Price listed is for a pair.

That is awesome! Makes me miss my old trailer pit. It also had a custom paint job. But it was maroon and white. It was my fightin Texas Aggie tailgate rig. I will have another trailer put one day.
