Edit: Didn't realize tax was in there.. Sounds like an OK deal to me, but there is a thread that people post their deals in that can give you a better idea:

That's a base SR5. No locker like the Off Road model comes with. Only matters if you plan to take it off pavement regularly.

As much as I feel black wheels are overdone these days (myself included), it’s kinda refreshing to see some black F5s on a quicksand. While I love this color truck, its not as forgiving as other colors and only looks good with black wheels IMHO vs bronze, gold, grey, etc.

Appreciate it! However, I believe the wheels are gunmetal, not black.

In that case I stand correct on my statement :hattip:

And secondly thanks for making me aware that there is another color variant from the SCS line that I can stomach on quicksand.

I do still think the F5s need some meat to look best on a 3rd gen. Maybe they are an option when I go to 285s. Assuming I can convince myself to abandon my SR8s :notsure:

Are your F5s the 4.5” BS 0mm offset?

Yes they are 0 offset. I was skeptical getting "knock-off" wheels for my truck initially, but seeing how so many members on here have had good results with them I decided to pull the trigger. Im happy with them so far!

Anything SCS is worth the wait and price.

I love the clean spoke design of my SR8s, but I am not a fan of the faux beadlock. The F5s have always been of interest due to the simplicity and the clean lip.

I think QS can take black, bronze, and gunmetal. Black #1 though for sure IMO.

There are lots of folks that share that opinion. I'm just not one of them.

Bronze, gold, and copper color varieties are too similar to the quicksand and just end up clashing. Again, solely my opinion.

Admittedly, the lighting of a photo can have a lot to do with opinions and appearances. I think all quicksand owners will agree that this color can present as a different hue depending on the lighting.

Yeah as stated earlier in the thread, it's one of the main things keeping me from chosing QS. I will almost certainly do black as I think it looks best. I've been using black wheels way longer than the recent black trend and really don't care if it's the "cool thing" these days - I'll do what I think looks best. I would say bronze can work but it does have to be of the darker variety. I LOVE bronze wheels in general, but I still probably wouldn't do them on a QS. But I've seen some that look good.

That’s the only reason I haven’t bought one. Should at least be able to mix and match colors.

I'm sure they can be found in singles if you find some in a store. Most random brick and mortar stores don't extend my Yeti discount so I don't buy from them. I just buy direct from Yeti.

Would you mind a shot from the front to show how the tires stick out? And what backspace and offset are they ? I like them.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
some people got it like that man, and a 50 dollar cup doesn't bother them.
I spent 2k on a bumper and Baja Designs fogs, plus shipping from CA to VA.
Some people would call that crazy, actually most people.
