This. Ive got a long bed that's weighted down by sliders, a cap, awning, and camping gear, water, extra fuel, and firewood. It's gotten me through some ridiculous stuff, including some actual rock crawling just fine. Took some extremely careful driving though.

I have had to turn around before. But I also would have had to turn around with a short bed.

On one hand if you wanted to do really gnarly rock crawling you might benefit from a short bed. On the other, isn't that what people buy Jeep's for?

Hmm okay. Im not planning on going through some INSANE level rock stuff unless well, theres no option but I do like the extra length of the LBs, it adds a level of neatness at least to me It does. The SB is just as awesome looking so not slamming them at all!

Yeah man. It looks good without it. But definitely better with front windows tinted some.

I actually like the blacked out B-pillar look. Like anything else, its all about personal preference.

Thing is people always want to do something different. Im sure if Tacos came with blacked out raised letters on the tailgate people would be removing them and posting on here about how cool it looks with “ghosted” lettering.

If it came without the black pillars, someone would black it out and everyone would be asking for a tutorial thread on how to do it... LOL.

Installed the Relations Race Wheels Hidden winch mount. Overall its a great deal at 300 with free shipping and no lead time, but lacked instructions making the install a little more difficult than it needed to be

For me it has zero to do with wanting to be different. I just happen to think the blacked out b-pillars look crappy on quicksand. I don't mind it on other colors. I actually like the non blacked out pillar look, just my personal preference.

i agree- though I hadn't thought about tinting my front windows, it does look better when it's all the same tint. I've never had any of my vehicles windows tinted, but might consider that on this truck

You're probably correct for a lot of the cosmetic mods people do. Honestly, I did a few because I thought it'd look better, but I also did some of them because my truck is new and I wanted cheap ways to dote over it.

QS is the best currently available for sure. I really liked inferno too (had a 16 in inferno) but that’s been discontinued :(
