I was pretty we’ll set on buying one against my better judgement. Then I came to my senses. If after a few years they have a pretty decent reliability record, I could see possibly trading my Taco in for one. But at this stage in actuality, I don’t see it working out that way. I seem to like my Taco more and more every day.

I wish they'd discontinue the Quicksand, and make them more valuable.....

Hey guys I am picking up my 2017 Quicksand TRD Off-Road DC on Friday, and I can't wait! This will be my first tacoma I've owned. Do y'all have any recommendations on tires/wheels and lifts? I've been looking at the Bilstein 5100 kit with 887s and no rear lift.

I just picked up one of these myself. Is it supposed to come with relocation brackets for the transmission cooler or are they integrated into the winch bracket? Any tips on installing?

need to learn more about this stuff
Unicorns. I love how these look in quicksand. Do they not offer them in quicksand after they did the pros in them? I never see non trd pro quicksand 4 runners. Shoot I’ve only ever seen 2 of these. Look great!

They only did the 4Runner in quicksand for I believe the 2016 model Pro. There are a couple I’ve seen around here but you are right they are super rare.

Initial performance reports starting to come in and are not sounding too good on towing and mileage. Supposed to be class leaders in towing but apparently having some issues. YouTube group specializes in rating trucks is getting ready to release a their real world test results and it doesn’t sound good at all...

Yes, it comes with relocation brackets for the transmission cooler, and that was probably the hardest part of the install because you have to finagle the brackets the perfect way so that the mount sits correctly.
