Recently ordered a 2020 TRD OR in Quicksand and planning to get 265/70 17 SCS SR8s with Ridge Grapplers asap. Black SR8s would look great but SCS is out of stock until May or June. Does anyone have a photo of the Gen 3 Quicksand with Gunmetal grey SCS SR8? Googled it like crazy but no luck.

 

You could try calling some of the dealers across the country that carry SCS. I’d imagine someone would have what you’re looking for in stock.

I have a feeling the Gunmetal Grey on the Quicksand is either going to look really awesome or really lame. Going to have to set aside some time to Photoshop some on to see how they look before making a decision.

 

I have the gunmetal F5's and really like them. It makes the wheel stand out a little bit so its not lost in a black hole like with black wheels.

 

i ran the SR5 anthracite (gunmetal) rims on my TRD Sport when i first got it and loved the way it looked on quicksand. It made the wheels stand apart from the tires and the gunmetal was a real nice pair to quicksand. Just my opinion- I now have gloss black powder coated FJ Cruiser steelies on my truck but may go back to the SR5 16's later.

 

Here is the gunmetal color with Ray10’s. I was going to get black then I saw another member with gunmetal on quicksand & was like yup. I like the contrast that they give over a black wheel.
