I just bought that same Marin bike can’t wait to get it a ride. I was hoping it matched the truck close too but a little off isn’t too bad.

    Nice!
    What size are those tires?

I mod a scale modeling site, and last year I posted some pics of my DCLB and had one of our members comment:
"I always wondered who bought tan Toyotas."

I didn't feel the need to explain myself since he obviously lacked the capacity to see how badass Quicksand Tacomas were.

I enjoy my QS truck. It's different, but it has to be complimented with black or another bold color. I'm biased, obviously, but other Vehicles in tan look weird. (GMC Canyons/Ram 1500/Jeep renegade.etc)

Agreed. I too went with black accents across the board with some larger heritage stripes in place of the OR quarter panel stickers and on the grill.
Even the wife likes a splash of color on the truck.

Quoting from Out2gtcha post above...a little tasteful color is a good thing:thumbsup::cheers:

    Good looking rig.

Ive got wheels and tires ready to go for Sandy, just need a lift.
With moms passing last month it appears that will come quite a bit sooner than I expected. I wasn't aware of what she was planning on leaving the kids, but its enough that a lift will be genuinely happening now. She lived a long happy life, so I think a bit of fun with some of it will be in order.

Thanks and, sorry for your loss. T
They want us to be happy and you should do so. You have excellent taste in trucks as I too, have the '20 Desert Tan, DCLB.

Not sure how big a lift you're going with but FYI...

mine has 285/75/16 Toyos on OEM wheels painted bronze and added TRD caps. Toytec Boss lift with leafs in the rear, SPC uca's, 1.25" spacers, Body Armor winch bumper with Smittybilt 10K winch. I had the KDMax tune installed also and it does pretty well. Truck drives and handles great.

Thanks, very kind of you to say.

I've got some Method MR-312s and some BFG 285/75/17 KM3s at the ready.

I've got my eyes on a new ADS lift along with some nice UCAs and if course a likely CMC.

I also have ring and pinions on my list to get and put on at the same time as the lift and tires, just have to decide on ratio.

Oh yes, almost forgot about the KD Max tune, that seems like a no brainier to get for our tacos and is also definitely in my list as soon as I find a reputable shop that knows what they are doing with them in my area.
