Got the Front Runner Outfitters Cargo Slide - Medium ordered with the Labor Day sale deal on Monday, picked it up on Tuesday and test fitted it on Wednesday (although, I still need to bolt it in place). I should have ordered this bed slide earlier on soon after getting the DB cover. It’s probably the slickest and most low profile bed slide (edit: commercially made) to fit under the DB covers (edit: or other tonneau covers and bed caps/camper shells). For those mounting their bed racks / crossbars with gear (e.g. overlanding gear, kayak, bike racks…) on their DB cover such that none of the panels can be opened, this bed slide might be a good option for accessing their gear that are stuffed toward the front end of their bed.
Looks like the Medium sized cargo slide is a nearly perfect fit to the short bed Taco’s bed space. Pic above shows it clears the fuel containers hanging from the rail.

The slide also appears to clear the Mountain Hatch tailgate panel. (Again, the bed slide isn’t bolted down yet. It might not clear after bolting down the bed slide frame.)

The green Taco is really nice looking, especially in person. But the Tan still looks a tad better....

After seeing enough bronze wheels on quicksand I pulled the trigger. I’ll get to use this set up until I swap in my snow tires on stock wheels in a few weeks.

Hey … I found the cool kids and I finally joined the club! I’ve been through two F150s over 20 years and finally made the jump after lusting for..ev..er. Kids are getting older and starting to move out/on so the size of the Taco is perfect.

My Quicksand paint seems more washed out than some. And not just because of the bright sun in this pic.

I really like the darker tones on some of your trucks.

    None
I had to have my bumper repainted due to someone backing into my truck. The shop told me there were at least 5 distinct shades of the Quicksand color and that they had to determine which mine was before they painted it. I don't know if they were pulling my leg or not. My truck is a 2017 TRD 4X4 off road.

Here's my secret. I don't wash it much. I wash it more in the winter to remove the salt, but summertime hides it well.... :crapstorm:

Yes, Diamondback SD cover. I've really liked the security it provides and it's watertight enough to keep my gear dry.

Do you have a build thread? If not, what size tires are you running. Looks great.

Thanks. No build thread, but in hindsight I should've made one while it was still in progress. It's kinda "done" now so I guess there's no point.

Tires are Yokohama Geolandar G003 MT in 35x12.5/17. I'm on my second set so far and I love them.
