Finally took delivery! Originally ordered a 7545 from a dealer in Charlotte but ended up getting a 7559 that was in stock at a dealer in Pennsylvania. Of course 3 miles on the odometer and I had to drive it through snow. Loaded up on parts when I took delivery. More pics to come.

Looks good. I considered those emblems a while back too, but ended up just de-badging because I don't really like cleaning in the nooks of the emblems.

Posted this in the "Where'd You Off Road" thread, but figured a repost in the Quicksand thread was appropriate. The mud up here in NY matches the paint pretty well once it dries!

I agree that having to clean the nooks can be a pain but I've invested in some small brushes that helps make the job easier/quicker.

It looks like I will be leaving this thread and joining The MGM thread. My dealership called today and has only been able to locate a TRD Off-Road dbcb in MGM.

The order will take 3 to 4 months. I have a trade in on my FJ which will deflate in value as time goes on. Plus I understand there will be at least one price increase in that about of time. Probably in May. So it's a loose, loose situation for me. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. At least until I turn on the crawl control.

MGM is a great color too, I actually find the dark unpainted fenders match the MGM better than any other color (including black) in my opinion.

Can you clarify the price increase? I'm thinking of ordering a 2017 around September.

The price increase is expected to be about $300. I really wouldn't let that deter you from waiting for a 2017. I guess time will tell.

A $300 increase deters you from purchasing the color you really want?:der:
Must be a unicorn option if 3-4month wait. Or find another dealer that won't BS you.
BTW with the FJ being discontinued, it will hold its value..I wouldn't be concerned about that.

Unless it's a 2017, I guess I don't understand why a 2016, which is on its way out would increase in price in May.

Just giving information that has come from a reliable source. As I stated, time will tell.

As far as the price increase deterring me, there are other factors involved that I would rather not discuss here.
