Best of luck. I hope you like it better than your auto. You should as it drives night and day differently. We look forward to seeing you on the Manual Transmission BS thread.

I'm very sure I will. I had a manual 2013 TRD OffRoad and loved it. I think this tranny utilizes the 3.5 powerplant's high end torque much better...

I also think the Quicksand color is kinda cool simply because it's like having a color and still staying neutral. I live in a county of 250,000 people and I've only seen one Tacoma in quicksand so far...that's a great thing! Can't wait to pick Ol' Sandy up in 24 hours!!

I think the color also lets people know you don't mind getting dirty in your truck. You prefer to play more than polish.

You don't need the deep shine of a black or dark grey or bright flashy colors of inferno, blue or red to be happy, dirty brown looks good too!

I was at Lowes today and as I was loading items into my truck I heard 2 different groups of people walking by commenting on how awesome my truck looks and the color. As I was backing out, a car was pulling into the spot next to me and as I looked over, he was totally admiring my truck. It's good to be sand colored!

That's one of the reasons I ordered a Quicksand model w a manual tranny. I figure both options will be off the table soon...

Replaced the grille on mine yesterday! Hopefully early this week I will get the chrome bumper end caps replaced with the unpainted SR end caps.

Who sells this great grill please? Or did you make it yourself from components? Thanks...

CCG for the grille. I made the letters, then vinyl wrapped them with Digital Camo vinyl. If I had it to do over again, I would 3D print them and go from there, cutting them from an FJ logo and giving them a rounded edge style was a PITA

BTW, love your pictures. Keep em coming. And while I live in the midwest now, I am a PNW native. I go to Seattle as often as a I can, but your pictures are the next best thing.
