That looks great. I may copy you, lol. It looks like the rear is a bit higher than the front, although that could be the picture or maybe parked on an incline. When I added a rear tire carrier/bumper to my Cherokee I had to add a leaf to the OME set-up. It took a while for it to settle before it levelled out.

Looks awesome!! I just picked my Quicksand 6 speed TRD OffRoad up the other day. I'm retiring in less than two years and would like to hit that area. Any hints on where to start, etc?

The pic was taken on Davison Rd in the Nat'l Park. We just took a trip out Highway 20 to US 101 up to Trillium Falls Trail, then back over Highway 299 through Redding and down to the Sacramento area. It was our first time up there. We've only lived here 2 yrs.

I kind of wanted to drive my truck off a cliff. It wouldn't hold 6th gear at all and it would shift down to 3rd climbing the mountains and hold 4500 RPMS.

Thanks!! I'll have to look it up on google maps. Looks like a nice trail...yeah I was a frustrated automatic tranny owner and went to a manual. Hated that tranny. They need to update the software or do something...lotsa complaints.

Zano - The 2016 is my first Taco so I don't know if earlier ones fit. I would contact Snugtop directly and ask the question since an "almost fit" will certainly leak. I do know that we had to wait for Snugtop to come out with the 2016 models for the new Tacoma and so I would guess not, but really don't know.

    Best wishes...

It'll sit an inch higher and the back door won't close all the way unless modified due to the change in tailgate shape. Aside from that it'll fit just fine.

Thanks for the replies! Considering a '16 in place of my '13 and would like to keep my SnugTop. Going to look at the '16's tomorrow!

There is a fix for the constant shifting... Order one with a manual transmission.
