I decided to get the stock wheels and tires dirty before the upgrade. Tackled most of Rocky Gap Road with a stock OR. Went all the way to the rock garden before turning back. I need under protection and sliders before I proceed further. IMG_6548.jpg
Picked up a set of new FN Wheels Fx Pro wheels yesterday and the 265/70/17 Nitto Grappler G2 tires were delivered and installed at a local Discount Tire today. I really enjoy the way the truck looks now. Only thing that it needs visually is that grill painted/dipped black and a possible debage.

I haven't been on here often, but here are the pictures of my quicksand.
I know few have been following my lift, here it is.

Stopped by the Outlets in Barstow for some pics.

Damn does your truck look good @ELKAHOLIC! Waiting on my DCLB and I've been going back and forth if I made the correct decision. Looking at your truck says "Damn yes I did!" I've been waiting 10 weeks and still have not heard a build date from my dealer :turtleride:

What sliders are those? I think sliders will be my first mod right after ordering Tailgate decals. Looking for ones with a kick out at the end though.

I'm already over the two month hump :( Where are you from and where did you place your order with? At least you have an estimated delivery date, I don't have anything. Hopes and dreams! LOL

I'm in Montana. There is a DCLB OR in Magnetic Gray at a dealer 115miles from me. In stock. Better equipped and a little pricier.

MGM was my second pick on color too...

DAMMIT! Do I wait for Quicksand til 'whenever' or do I just get in the car and buy this MGM truck...

If Quicksand is your #1 choice, wait it out. Well worth the wait. There won't be any more like 'em...

Hated the color when I first saw. The more and more I saw trucks and the 4 runner pros with it the more I liked it. Ended up getting my DCLB OR in it. Couldn't be happier

@ELKAHOLIC The dealer told me I have another 2-5 month wait last month around this time. 1-4 months to go!

Inferno is my second choice but I'd rather wait for the Quicksand since that was my initial color.

Yeah it is tough waiting. I was happy with my 08 but it was an access cab and my little girls are growing up and complaining about having to sit back there. As soon as I saw the quicksand I knew what to do. Had to talk the wife out of getting a Jeep Unlimited, then ordered my truck. It is even worse waiting when you go out and buy a bunch of stuff to put on it! I suggest don't buy anything until you get the truck LOL. My BAMF grill comes in next week and I am done! I think. Out of all the things I have done, the Clazzio leather seat covers are probably my favorite mod.

I have to agree, it completely transforms the interior into something more upscale.

Love the feel of the leather also. Perfect match to the color and texture of the steering wheel.
