I should clarify the jeep was 38k I got a fully loaded to the gills TRD for 38.5
So I just got mine and and have JBL coming from my Jeep with the stock Alpine system it's not bad. The Alpine sub had more bass to it, but this JBL sound is very good. Test drove one with and one without and it made a big difference. It was worth the 2 week wait to get the one with JBL. That being said there is an aftermarket company called OEM? I think that makes a sub that looks very nice. Maybe worth looking into.

How those Coopers? I had them on my Ranger and really liked them. Not a fan of Goodyear and thinking about getting them.

Is that the Bestop topper? How is the fit? We've been Looking at the Softtoper for ours but haven't ruled out others.

Yes it's the Bestop Supertop. They are both great soft tops and it was a hard choice. It boiled down to the windows- if I camp in the back I like to have windows... I'm going to keep an eye out on an extra set of windows and have a local boat upholstery shop fab in some type of screen system (or I will just fab up a screen on the inside).

The Bestop is pretty sturdy. After install I went into town on the freeway and at 85mph it was rock solid for 20 miles.

It seems a lot of folks don't like it because of the bows in the top, but if you look at mine it kinda blends in with the factory roof racks, so I don't think it looks so bad.

Is it just me or is everyone that buys a '16 putting putting the TRD Pro wheels on their rigs? Awesome looking wheel just seems superrrr common. Then again who am I to talk because I have Method NVs

Seems so. I have a set in the garage awaiting Cooper ST/Maxx tires on Wednesday, lol.

It doesn't bother me that it's common. The fact that it is a TRD wheel and it just looks great with most Tacoma color schemes makes it a wise purchase. It should have been a factory option like the beadlock wheels, IMO.

It is the wheel Toyota should have put on them, but hey good move on their part. The wheels are cheap compared to most factory wheels and about the same as aftermarket. They must be making a killing on them. Like your wheels, any nice looking wheel will sell.

I find it more interesting that there are 23 pages about the FN or FX version that looks similar. Everyone raves about it being superior in every way to the TRD Pro wheel yet they all put a TRD center caps in them.

Mugs - So far with 16,000 miles I really like them and would consider as replacements. I have stock size and they work well for me. I think the white letter outside looks best. Really sets the truck off.

I might consider load range c in the 265 - 75 size maybe for looks and a little lift. But the stockers are are a good choice too. They are reasonable quiet which I prefer. I hate buzzing down the freeway.

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
Common on this website but I haven't seen one like mine in "real life" and I travel a lot...

Quicksand with the black TRD wheels is one of those super nice and perfect combinations.

    Well done!

    Correct

I have yet to a see another 3rd gen with the TRD Pro wheels in the wild, only see them on a couple of TRD Pro 4Runners. We have at least 5 dealerships in my area so there's plenty of 3rd gens running around, but only mine with the TRD wheels.

Thank u for not dipping the entire grille. Lol

Looks much more original, yet gets rid of the "braces look"...

I too think the TRD wheels look superb on the quicksand. I've got a set and on Thursday I'm mounting 265 Cooper STMaxx's on them.
