Too funny.. I did that with the 2011 Mustang 5.0L when they came out.. I was absolutely sure I wanted grabber blue.. Then saw a black GT sitting in the show room.. Walked back in and said change it to black:anonymous:

Looks really cool. Did the grille just pop out and back in? I never did that before, easy enough?

There were 8 pop out pins and two screws holding the assembly in, which is the grill, chrome bezel and color matched surround. Once that is out, there are six or eight small screws to remove, then just work your way around unclipping the pieces from one another. The emblem can also be removed, but the clips are fragile.

I agree, i want to like the color but one pic it looks dark and the next its beige colored. We dont have any big dealerships here so i cant see it until they get one.

The color looks different in various lightings and angles. There's a picture of someones Sport a couple posts back with their dog tied to the bed. That picture is an accurate representation of the color.

I can confirm that the quicksand color in real life looks darker than shown in most pics.
Saw 2016 Quicksand tacoma st the dealership lot under sunny day. Looks little light. (See picture with a water botle)
Also one of my neighbor has a 2016 4Runner TRD Pro in QuickSand and it looks flat/darker color when sun is not hitting on it directly, if it makes sense. (See the Tundra pic, i think thats a more accurate representation).

Man, all of the little black bits/highlights look so much better than the chrome...wish they had done the same thing to the Tacoma as the Tundra in that pic!

That is a TRD Pro Tundra, which includes standard black accents instead of chrome.

Yeah, and it looks good. I think that black against Quicksand is a great color combo...one reason I like the OR version of the Tacoma. I think the black fenders compliment the body color well.

Went to Discount Tire yesterday with 135 miles on the stock street tires. They gave me a respectable $280 trade-in for the stockers. Not much less than I could have got on Craigslist and zero hassle. I went with Cooper Discoverer ATP 265/70/17 after considering Duratracs and BFG KO2s. The Coopers were way cheaper and won't kill my MPGs. They look so much better than the crappy Firestones. They are a bit noisy, though...so much for the nice quiet cabin!

It just depends where the dealership is located. Some people would steal anything not permanently attached.

I had one ordered and chickened out and called and changed the color to white two weeks later.
I like it. Just thought it was too manly for me.

    Your braver than me.
Too much time involved in keeping that thing clean.
