    This may or may not be new news... but the 2017s are available in Quicksand. Not sure how I feel about this... selfishly, I kinda wanted it to be a one-year color. but I guess more people have this option now.

    Out here in San Diego I have seen around 5 or 6. You are right, when folks see it in person they really like it. I get a ton of compliments. My wife makes fun of me when people say they like my truck.

    In Central Connecticut I've seen one driving on the highway, and one at the dealer that I placed my order at. Mine will be here next week.

    Other than that I've seen a few Silver ones and a few Black. Other than that, not many 3rd Gens at all.

    MANY Quicksand Tacomas here on Big Island. I pass 3-5 daily, and on the weekends I'll see a few more. Most common colors are white and silver. Rarest colors here are blue and inferno.

    In my Big Island, Virginia, a tiny town with a population of 300, I see a sport model with a camper shell that I pass occasionally to and from work. Worst part is my camper shell will be here in two weeks and we will damn near look the same :facepalm:. Other than that one, I don't see them anywhere.

    ^^^ haha, I know the feeling. 2 of the ones I pass by almost daily are DC TRD Off-Road also. My grille is different, and I have roof racks and bed racks though. Our local dealer here had a run of Off-Road Tacomas that came im with color keyed rear bumpers also. No tech package or anything. One of the two are from that same shipment.

    I forgot I saw the guy today again when a customer was test driving his truck and I was just riding along. It's hilarious how they stick out as bad as the inferno since I have one.

    Put this light bar in yesterday. Only took 45 minutes but didn't wire it in yet because I didn't have time and I didn't pay attention when I ordered my dash switch and I'm waiting for it to literally come from the other side of the world. I am very pleased with the easy install and everything going exactly as planned.
