Oh okay... I'm kind of a Ford/Mustang geek so I couldn't help but chime in!

I love the oil filter placement on the 4.0L!!! It was a HUGE improvement over the 1st gens 3.4L. That sucked ass!!

Where they'd put it this time?

Kinda, at least with that one you could get to it from the wheel well. This one is a cartridge filter in a housing that is mounted on the front bottom of the engine.

That looks special. At least it is vertical and not perpendicular to the block.

That much is true. I've got a little bit of experience with oil changes on this system, about 5 years worth of experience

Why do corporations gotta make it harder on us do-it-yourselfers?? Seriously, there's no advancement from an engineering standpoint by making the oil filter more complex!!! It's all dealership B.S...

Oh hold on now, I never said anything about actually four wheeling in the Raptor. I only want it to look bad ass driving down the freeway (in rush hour traffic) and to occasionally jump insane distances. Besides, a side by side is WAY better down in Moab. See my avatar.

because the OP is the forum mod so he can do whatever he likes :)

just like the other 2 pins threads that are pointless to be pinned.

the mike sweers pin is debatable :)

    ...too much shit to list.
It's actually pinned in a meager (although admirable) attempt to get the new mental midget mouth breathers to broaden their tiny little mindset. The fact that the OP is a mod is irrelevant. He just did what the rest of us were thinking.
