3rd Gen Rear Bumpers-sensor/non-sensor?

Last winter I lost a fight with a light pole and a year later I'm desperate for fixing her! Unfortunately, I'm located in Canada and not willing to pay over priced shipping so I turn to the Tacoma World community for some guidance!!

My taco has the rear parking sensors and I can't find any bumpers in Canada that have the holes. Can I just drill them and pull it through myself or is there more to it? Hoping to get it fixed before the snow comes!

^Are you looking to upgrade to a steel or aluminum bumper, or keep the factory plastic bumper?

The holes in the factory bumper are in the caps, which are separate, removable plastic pieces you can buy from parts stores like Rock Auto or even Amazon. There are P/Ns with holes and without holes.

 

Definitely upgrade to aluminum/steel. figured i’m already spending the money haha

 

Sort of in the same boat some bumpers are steel and have the circular cut out for the sensors I also have the blind spot monitors as well most bumpers I have seen so far are NOT compatible I am still looking.

 

You can drill the holes yourself. My Mobtown bumper has holes for parking sensors. They're just plain holes in the outer skin.

 

You are aware that BSM requires non-metalic covers for the radar to work?
