Oh its fixed. When i took apart the pedal it did amaze me how cheap the mechanism looks. That ball and plastic "cup" design looks mediocre compared to the old metal clutch pedal assemblies.

Apparently the 3rd gen clutch pedal is a carryover from the second gen. Like alot of the rest of the truck.

I stil love my tacoma. Just observations from a guy with literally 7 toyota trucks and cars. I work on all my rides, so i just base my opinions from what I have seen.

Definitely helps having an older platform. I mean, look at the Nissan Frontier. Damn thing won a reliability award this year and it hasn't been updated in nearly 15 years.

Is this correct? I thought a TSB is applied only if one is related to a specific customer complaint?

Remember the old adage, “never buy the first model year after a change”. The heavy usage of electronics in all new vehicles is something we should all be aware of, as it adds to the concerns over longevity. The more years and more users, the bugs get worked out. Unfortunately, car owners are not as forgiving or understanding and Windows users.

Drive a manual, and you cut out some ECU glitches! ;)

    Cheers.

It's like a whole group of car people bought trucks by mistake.
