    BIG ANNOUNCEMENT :ohsnap:

Due to high demand, I cant take any more orders. KB Voodoo will be taking over from here on out and be the exclusive dealer for this product.

KB Voodoo and myself will provide the following

    • DIY printed instructions
    • Programmed Bypass Module
    • Quick Crimp Connectors (No splicing, soldering or taping needed)
    • Pre-Wired Wire Harness (Tacoma specific ready to go no guess work!)
    • DIY installation video (My You Tube Channel)
    • Operation Video (My You Tube Channel)

To those of you that have ordered, you are in good hands and will have your products with the dates I gave you so dont worry your good!

I will of course answer and and all questions you have on install or in general as i have for the last two days. I just cant do all the shipping myself its getting crazy.

For those of you who wondering about the videos, they will be posted this weekend Monday at the latest. I will still do installs if desired if your in the chicago area as well.

This is a great product with a great vendor. The module used has been around for a very long time and due to laws the dealer usually cant void 3rd party devices. Now if you strike a negative and positive during install and fry the ecu thats different. If done per the directions id be surprised if the
dealer could even find the remote start.

KB Voodoo the floor is yours :hattip:

What Nick has come up with here is a great product, possibly product of the year on TW. We started following this thread as soon as we saw it.

The demand for this is crazy, and Nick is not a vendor, doesn't want to be a vendor, and certainly doesn't want to spend his life in a shop packing this stuff, and dealing with everything that goes with it (like we at KB Voodoo do).

This is where we come in.....

Orders will be taken directly from www.kbvoodoo.com

We will handle all the sales, packaging, shipping, and customer service (Nick will also be available to answer questions, since he is DEFINITELY the expert).

I'm definitely excited about this, and can't wait to install it on the company truck!!! (especially since we're supposed to get two feet of snow over the next couple days).

I was doing this for fun and just charging shipping to be honest

But when you sell 31 kits in 24 hours its not so much fun anymore

Don't get me wrong though I love that I helped everyone and gave people a cheap alternate to a remote start

So instead of some kid doing it at best buy for $350.00 and looking like spaghetti you can do it and make it look nice and clean

Other option is the dealer for 500 bucks ;)

Not only is this kit a DIY and extremely easy to install, but you can also add a Smart Start which is a device lets you lock, Un-Lock and start your vehicle from anywhere in the world. Now this does have a service plan and device. I have linked them below

    Service Info: http://mysmartstart.com/

    Device Needed:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZJBE7OK/ref=twister_B014KS96MA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

You can also add actual remotes including 2-way remotes! A 2- way remote means it send you a chime back to your remote letting you know it sucessfuly started. Remotes work from 1/2 to 1 mile away!

    Device Needed:
    https://www.amazon.com/XPRESSKITS-X...&ie=UTF8&qid=1481249973&sr=1-2&keywords=xl202

This can then be paired with any viper, clifford or avital remote.

So much for a cheap remote starter. My dealer quoted me $325 Toyota remote start installed, looks like you priced me out.

$325 isn't bad price for remote start installed if you don't have the skill set or the willingness to do it yourself, but $129 is still a great price for remote start. Sure it isn't $70'ish like the other guy & I should have jumped on that price, but still $129'is a good price.

Well the thread title does say $45... Y'all are certainly providing a service, but this is now quite a bit higher than it was.when Nick was giving away his time.

The one complaint I have is the edit-disappearance of the info for those able/willing to DIY with the core components.

Is that labor included? May have to get this done at the local dealership.

I was commenting for others, but I for sure will do it myself I did the remote start on my '15 Tacoma so I know I can do it on this one.

The dealer has private companies do remote start installs. It's not Toyota brand. I know because I worked at one and my buddies work at Toyota corporate in cali

I think 130 is much cheaper than 325. Also keep in mind that the kit offered by KB Voodoo isn't the same as mine. He offers all the connectors and everything is loomed niceley to look factory.
