3rd Gen Remote Start Using OEM Remote

Alright I placed my order too. I'm skeptical that it will be any nicer than what nickj put together. But if you prove me wrong I'll concede that stance.

I'm sure you can understand the disappointment though. Refunds take up to 5 days to process and another 5 to get back into my account. Meanwhile I'm out an additional $130 that I though would only have been $70. Like I said, I'm not mad, just disappointed. For all the trouble, I'm hoping it's worth it.

The reaction to the pricing is kind of off-putting. I've spent so much time putting this together, bypassing the locks, putting up directions, working on you tube videos, and answering a ton peoples questions. At one time my inbox was almost full. The product gets a real company to put it together handle everything and people are asking me every 5 minuites to sell them one for 70. I was making no money i actually lost 8 dollars over the ones I sold myself. Just kind of a kick in the junk to see all the messages and posts here. A simple remote start done at best buy or somewhere like that would be 300-400 dollars no oem remote just a aftermarket installed.

 

Is there a way to set the timer to longer than 15 minutes? 20 minutes would be perfect to me.

Im finding that in 15 min my car dosnt get too warm. So for that reason we are changing it to 20 min

Thats my thought. My truck gets warm around 8-10 minutes idling but 20 would really help with the windshield! So if ordering from @KB Voodoo they will be set at 20 minutes? or do we need to specify in the order.

 

Nope all are going to be changed to 20 min. Also keep in mind that if its not really that cold out and 20 min is too long, you can always hit lock 3 more times and shut it off

 

Also anyone asking about other options, the system we use is the only system that allows the door locks to operate while the truck is running. No other one on the market has the capability. So thats why were using the more expensive one

I was debating not ordering when you stopped due to the price and factory key fob being the main reason I was going to go for it but its still a GREAT deal and I hate the cold! Thanks for coming up with a fantastic and affordable remote start that uses the factory remote and allows it to lock @nickj718 and @KB Voodoo for bringing it to the masses.

Is the coupon code "130vs350" for real or are you just messing with us? I'm pretty gullible and don't "need" a promo but saving money is always nice! I've spent too much on my Taco over the past month.

I agree. Its a very fair price! I really think its a great price with its features and functionality.

While I understand people about the price. I know myself and probably many others didnt really understand that @nickj718 was hooking them up way more than I think he should have. I respect that you weren't trying to make a buck on TW members and actually lost some $$$ by being a great person and fellow TW member. People will get over it and once they do they will realize that @KB Voodoo is really still giving them a great deal compared to other options that are available and place more orders. Thanks again @nickj718 next time at least put a few $$$ in your pocket because i'm sure what ever you come up with/create will still be a fantastic deal and your time is worth something. Heck just put a 6 pack tax on it! You deserve it.

BTW, my order is placed! I cant wait to get it and install it! My back will love a warm truck to get into in freezing weather and a cold one in the hot summers. Time to go freeze the credit card in water. I cant spend any more this month!
