I love my rolling brick too. lol Just saying it's not designed to be MPG efficient like the Ridgeline is.

Brand loyalty is actually why I didn't buy the Tacoma in 2016 when I was in the market for a pickup. I've been a Honda guy for a long time. Having owned many Honda cars and bikes over the years and never having a single issue with any of them, I wanted to see what Honda would bring to the table with the Ridgeline, but in the end I just couldn't get past the way it looks, so I bought the Tacoma (my first Toyota) and I've been quite happy with it so far. As a bonus, the Tacoma was available with a manual transmission.
That's my serious response, but since the thread devolved into chaos right from the start, I figured I might as well just stir the pot. :stirthepot:

Canyon in a diesel gets 30mpg easily as stock. If tuned they can get close to 40.

The Frontier is superior to every mid-size out there (including our car) in terms of reliability, off road capability, and power train. Sure it's dated, but who cares.

You literally have almost 12 months until the New Frontier and Ranger come to the US. Just wait.

    Doesn't it go 0-60 in 10-seconds?

Probably, its a turd being stock. When I test drove both truck the tacoma had the power. However my colorado is tuned and its no turd anymore its pretty quick for a truck.

I had a 2017 tacoma and sold it a few months later (luckily for what I was into it). Don't get me wrong its a nice truck but its nothing like my 2nd gens were.

2017 Colorado Z71 with the baby duramax 2.8 I test drove both trucks when I bought my Tacoma and the looks of the exterior and interior vs the colorado in my opinion are much nicer in the tacoma. When I tried to merge on the freeway in the Colorado I was like there is no power at the pedal. Now my Colorado is tuned and its a night and day difference 250hp/500tq :) plus or minus a few hp and tq. I average 25mpg with 33" tires and a level lift.

Ridgeline is a minivan with a bed. Saw a video on YouTube where it overheated transfer case on a mild dirt trail.
