Those OR rims look like they were made for the first gen. I’m never a huge fan of people throws some rims that were made for other models but I approve this
The 18” limited wheels, on the other hand, please God no.

After months of searching for a set of 3rd gen TRD OR wheels I finally found some! IMO they look amazing on any first gen tacoma. Im here to answer a few of the questions that I had when I was looking for these wheels...

    1. "Do they rub?" I have stock tire size (265/70/16) with no spacers or any cutting and they don't rub at all, I've taken it to full lock in both directions with no issues

    2. "Is backspacing and offset going to cause a problem?" The offset difference on these wheels is so minimal that you can barely tell. The stock wheels for my first gen had an offset of 15mm and these have an offset of 24mm I believe so they are tucked in about 1/3 of an inch closer but not noticeable

    3. "Can I use my stock lug nuts? Yes! I used stock lug nots that came with my tacoma and they worked just fine with these wheels

The before and after picture is my favorite. Looks soooo good! truck 2.jpg truck 3.jpg

Addendum: If your replacing stock steel wheels with these rims you will need new lug nuts. Also if you intend to keep a steel wheel as a spare keep a set of the original acorn style lug nuts with the truck.

    Update on the wheels....

Well I lied...it rubs a little. The bottom of my driveway goes from steep to flat with no transition and if I am at full lock turning left and the suspension flexes, it rubs the frame. Not a huge deal just wanted to add more info on the setup. I might end up adding a small spacer in the future but as long as im going fairly slow, nothing rubs.
